Schatt & Morgan Keystone Series #69 - Barlow ?

Ha! This thread was a great read. I just read it for the first time, from the beginning. Nice work everyone! You can count me out of the gaw Evan. The projects you're going to be doing for me will more than satisfy my knife cravings. :)

Evan great job of bringing this Barlow back to life. Please count me out of the GAW as I got a replacement from the seller
(by the way handled very promptly and with outstanding service) and am good to go. The replacement is near perfect. My reward was witnessing the great interaction, insightful comments and just all around respectful yet intense scrutiny by wonderful forum members read that knife aficionados. Like I said early on I was amazed by the overwhelming interest in this thread. Thanks for allowing me the pleasure of initiating this thread subject. All the BEST in the New Year you my fellow forum members!

This has been one of the most entertaining threads ever. It highlights the passion of these crazy knife nuts very well. As a business owner it also shows me the importance of good quality control and how much attention one little slip up can get.
Nice job massaging that sweet knife to it's rightful magnificence Evan!

That is one sweet looking Barlow! It's a design I've never owned, but always admired. I've had chances to pick one up here and there, but they always seem to be the cheaper ones with the stamped steel bolsters vs. the solid ones. Always decided to wait until just the right one comes around. This one definitely fits that bill!
Thanks for the chance Evan!
Happy New Year, Everyone!

This has been a good read. Glad we got the mystery solved.

Thanks for the opportunity; nice GAW.

Well, a winner has been selected! Brisket won with post #44!

This should be fun, he might not even know that he was entered in a give away!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Wow, Evan! I was not aware to this thread had been turned into a GAW and I am blown away to find out that I won. Thank you so much.

Congrats!! Awesome knife I've been looking at these lately. :) Can't believe I didn't spot this thread before today. What a good read it was though!

The infamous S&M #69 Barlow has arrived and it is glorious! A knife that few outside an evidence room have sparked greater speculation or prompted more befuddlement. Thank you Evan for your kind gesture and masterful skills and thanks to all that contributed to this very educational and entertaining thread.
