School me on strider sng

I would take the word of actual Vets, or guys in the service now, over someone spouting things he read off a website, even the Official Army website.
This statement is hilarious to me. You trust someone’s incorrect statements over the official army website?
“Damn the encyclopedia! I doth protest!”

Just stating the facts. Do you have a problem with facts?

no, SF prof, no problem at all. I do get suspicious of self-declared internet experts, tho. None of what you have written so far makes any sense.

To the OP: while Strider seemed to be "in" many years ago, plenty of info about the guy and quality of the knives has been written. Never had one or felt the desire to purchase one, not now or back then. You can do better with plenty of knives available now for way less money.

What exactly doesn’t make sense? Everything I backed up with the Army website?

Literally google it and see for yourself, it’s all over the internet.
Try “do you have to go to Ranger school to be an army ranger”.

See for yourself... or just keep arguing with me.

That’s right, you’ve been reading some websites. What are these active duty soldiers thinking?
No, I know a thing or two, and verified it with official online sources. What have you done besides screeched about stolen valor and called me a “fake vet”?

It’s the official army website, backing up MY claim, and I know people with first hand experience.

But go on doubting me. Like I said: facts don’t care about your feelings.
Just because it's written on an official website doesn't mean it's true to what actually happens IRL. You must be pretty daft if you believe that.

To be clear, I couldn't care less what you say. The facts are what they are, and you being clearly wrong and delusional here is a fact. Oh, BTW, I know a guy or two, too. O_o

Ah man, see that’s peculiar to me because I spoke with a few sergeants major that spent the majority of their careers in regiment, one of which ran RIP and the other did serve as cadre as Ranger school at one point, and THEY told me that you need to try and graduate Ranger school if you’re E-5 or higher... ESPECIALLY if you serve in a leadership position, but not all PFCs and SPCs in regiment are Ranger school grads.

Also, I know several people in regiment right now and I can call and confirm. So I think you’re confused.

Also: SFAS isn’t RIP or RASP. They are two different organizations with two different mission sets, so don’t compare them here. Getting SELECTED at SFAS puts you in the pipeline for Q course, and completion of the Q course gets you the SF qualification.

Again, not all rangers have been to Ranger school, and going to Ranger school does not make you a Ranger.

I’m not defending him, I’m defending the title. Know the difference.
POS Berger didn't earn the title. He is not and never has been a Ranger. Washed out of training and was kicked out of the Army. Why is that hard for you to understand. Read Sparks very accurate and concise thread on this for the truth, not your opinion.
Your constant trolling really screws up some informative threads.--KV

Please don't send them to my office. LOL
