School me on strider sng

Uh, back when I was in the Army, if you went to Ranger school and graduated, you were a Ranger, and got the Ranger tab sewn on your uniform. So yeah, Ranger school has a lot to do with it. I was actually in the Army, not citing my information from websites.
Incorrect. Graduating Ranger School does not make one a “Ranger”... the correct terminology is “Ranger Qualified”.
Going to airborne school does not make you a paratrooper... it makes you “airborne qualified”. You have to be assigned to an airborne unit and on jump status to be a paratrooper.. and you have to be assigned to a Ranger unit to be an army ranger.

Facts.

What have I said that you can confirm is incorrect? Some people have come on here with incorrect info, and I have confirmed my statements with online resources sponsored by the army.

I told you I’m not a fan of Berger, and I think he’s a POS... but if he finished RIP and got assigned to a battalion, he WAS an ARMY RANGER. FACT.

Ranger School has ZERO to do with it.

Nice try.

I'm beginning to think you have a learning disability and in trying to communicate with you I'm actually falling into the trap of playing chess with a pigeon. I don't usually hang out in W&C but you are driving me there now, because I assume they must be talking about this goofy "white knight valiantly battles logic and reason on behalf of lying dirtbag Mickey Burger" thread and I have to go see that commentary, it has to be better than this mess.

Go on, strut around the chess board doing what you do, and have a nice day.

What special operations unit did you serve in?

2/3 SFG(A), 1/10 SFG(A)

You really think they spell it all out on the internet? What they say on a website (or in the recruiter's office) and what is actually done in the service are totally seperate. What they told my brother (Marine) and what he experienced were totally different. Not that he hated his time in the Marines, but it definitetly wasn't what they told him it would be.

I would take the word of actual Vets, or guys in the service now, over someone spouting things he read off a website, even the Official Army website.
Good, then you should take my word for it... given what you said.

Okay, are you a special forces soldier? Or support?

If you are/were SF, then you would know what you’re talking about... and given your statements, you don’t seem to know much about Ranger Regiment vs. Ranger School.

The topic of Mr. Strider being stolen valor has been discussed as nauseum on the this forum. The guy is stolen valor, and to me that is one of the most scumbag things you can do. I will not buy anything he is a part of.

Stolen valor is disgusting, I shouldn't have to explain why.

We can prove that the dude is stolen valor, and I don't need the Army's recruiter website to give me some technicality of why someone thinks that Strider isn't stolen valor. You are free to think how you will. I won't support him.

Stolen valor supporting stolen valor. Makes a lot of sense.

Let's talk about the subject; not other posters.

If we talk about certain members military backgrounds some people in the thread are gonna get burnt to a crisp. Just like the last few times.

You need to get your eyes checked. I’m not disputing the fact that Berger is a case of stolen valor... what I AM disputing is the people that claim he wasn’t an army ranger, IF in fact he completed RIP and was assigned to a Ranger battalion.

There are plenty of soldiers that inflate or lie about their accomplishments or training, but that doesn’t erase what they have accomplished. Case in point, if he was an Army Ranger, and started to lie about everything he did after, you don’t get to say his entire record is false.

You want to talk about tacky? Tacky is accusing everyone you disagree with of stolen valor just because you have a personality conflict. THAT’S tacky.

No. Tacky is a self-proclaimed high speed vet, dogging other vets because they never went to combat. That’s tacky.

Don’t give me that crap. You all came out bashing me and my credibility from the start. You don’t get to call foul when the same comes back your way.

Well, try not calling other veterans “stolen valor fake veterans”, and maybe they won’t come at you so aggressively.

Practice what you preach.

They might not “stay for long” if they don’t graduate RS, but they will if they’re worth a damn and in a Ranger battalion. Ranger regiment is tougher than Ranger school.
Also: You ARE a Ranger if you’re in a Ranger BN and don the tan beret, Ranger school or not. Don’t talk about that which you don’t understand.

Females assigned to special forces do NOT wear a green beret, that is only permitted by graduates of the SFQC.
You are confusing those in a “support” MOS with SF MOS. Non SF Soldiers in an SF unit wear the maroon airborne beret.

What special operations unit did you serve in?

What war did you deploy to?

Airborne? Selection? Q course?...

???

What was your MOS again there Kenny??? O_o

Wow. The fact that there are still knife folks out there, on this very forum no less, defending strider's proven fake military record shows why it is still so important to hammer home the point that he is in fact a stolen valor scumbag. Can't believe some still believe and propagate this stuff.
