Incorrect. Graduating Ranger School does not make one a “Ranger”... the correct terminology is “Ranger Qualified”.Uh, back when I was in the Army, if you went to Ranger school and graduated, you were a Ranger, and got the Ranger tab sewn on your uniform. So yeah, Ranger school has a lot to do with it. I was actually in the Army, not citing my information from websites.![]()
Going to airborne school does not make you a paratrooper... it makes you “airborne qualified”. You have to be assigned to an airborne unit and on jump status to be a paratrooper.. and you have to be assigned to a Ranger unit to be an army ranger.
