School me on strider sng

the irony is not even subtle here. "He was/is a Ranger, but going to Ranger school doesn't make you one. But he went thru it..." I think the defender is even more confused now.
Let me spell it out for you, since you don’t have a clue:

Ranger School: is a leadership course. Graduates are not “Army Rangers”... almost anyone can go to Ranger School, from any unit in the army.

Ranger Regiment: Is a military unit, and being assigned to it after completion of RASP means you’re a “army ranger”.
Ranger school is not a prerequisite to becoming an army Ranger, but is something those in regiment must work to complete shortly within their careers.

You say this as if you know something about the Army.

So I have 2 of the 3 "holy trinity" or "big 3". I have CRK and HINDERER, do I need the strider to fill out the collection? I know nothing except a bit about micks checkered past. I am curious if strider are worth the $600+ price tag? Thanx for any info on these knives...
Personally, I think the new production sngs have really stepped up in quality . Great knives and I'd happily pay $600+ for one . Get that trinity together mate!

how to check pictures online

What would take Striders place in the big 3 ? Id say Shirogorov; strider is a 1.98 ex QVC knife in a fishbowl at a gas station compared to Strider....
Personally I think Shiro and Rockstead would be next in line .

What special operations unit did you serve in?

What war did you deploy to?

Airborne? Selection? Q course?...

???

As if that would matter anyway--the truth is the truth wherever it comes from. Not sure why you're why anyone would want to get in the business of defending Mickey Burger's deceit, but you do you captain commando.

What have I said that you can confirm is incorrect? Some people have come on here with incorrect info, and I have confirmed my statements with online resources sponsored by the army.

I told you I’m not a fan of Berger, and I think he’s a POS... but if he finished RIP and got assigned to a battalion, he WAS an ARMY RANGER. FACT.

Ranger School has ZERO to do with it.

Nice try.

Your facts are bunk. You have to actually have served in the Army, to give out information ABOUT the Army. Hence, your information is not credible.
Save trolling for w&c, this isn’t the place to be accusing people you don’t like of stolen valor just to get a reaction.

I bought a SNG years ago.

It came with ONLY 1 WASHER!

I wrote 5 e-mails to the strider company, all of them unanswered.

I told myself maybe it was just a monday model..happens

Bought a SJ 75 (?)

Had horrible lock rock.

thanks for such a comprehensible, clear explanation, prof. Seems like you RUN the armed forces, uh?

Uh, back when I was in the Army, if you went to Ranger school and graduated, you were a Ranger, and got the Ranger tab sewn on your uniform. So yeah, Ranger school has a lot to do with it. I was actually in the Army, not citing my information from websites.

You really think they spell it all out on the internet? What they say on a website (or in the recruiter's office) and what is actually done in the service are totally seperate. What they told my brother (Marine) and what he experienced were totally different. Not that he hated his time in the Marines, but it definitetly wasn't what they told him it would be.

I would take the word of actual Vets, or guys in the service now, over someone spouting things he read off a website, even the Official Army website.
