I'm a big fan of Schrade knives and pick them up whenever I see a good deal. I bought an SC507 scrimshaw with a '57 Chevy on it at a flea market a couple of years ago but I never have been able to find out anything about it. It's S/N 2148, so I'm guessing it came from a run of 2500, or maybe a second run of 1500? It's complete in it's original presentation box w/ sheath. I've done several ebay searches since I've owned it and the same knife never shows up, so I have no idea of value. If anyone can tell me anything about this knife I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Thanks guys,
I will update the list in a day or two. Too late tonight & tomorrow I have to finish several Christmas gifts in my shop.
Thanks for the info and PLEASE, anyone who has additional models let me know or just post it here. Thanks again.
Merry Christmas everyone,
Dale
I found a note from a old post on Schrades made Sears/Craftsmans.95066 - 4" Stockman, black sawcut Delrin w/eagle shield. I'll keep digging.
Larry,
thank you for the reply!
When I found this 95066 in an antique store I did not know what it was, but it looked too much like a Schrade to pass up. You have at least confirmed for me that it is Schrade made. This is the first stainless Schrade that I have owned and it does not seem to keep as keen an edge as my carbon steel OTs and UHs. Is there a trick in sharpening them??
Again, thanks for the reply and I look forward to being in touch with you soon,
Kindest regards
Tom
