Scrap Yard Scores Some INFI. . . . Meet The War Dog ! ! ! !

I'm in the same boat as j3jwymann, no tracking number but a long a my mailman doesn't steal it I'm just happy to know its on the way

The knife looks great. By expressing I would like a thinner version of it isn't whining or crying, this is a forum right? Other companies would love to have product feedback that this place generates and apparently Jerry and company listen. I'll probably buy this knife and look forward to see what else comes out with this handle. By the looks of it they nailed the handle on this for MY taste, can't wait to try it. If that edge makes 1/4" a good slicer too then its a win.

My brother Dan has many plans for this handle and many of those will be much thinner. Not INFI, but MUCH thinner SR-101 designs at a much lower price. I am sure that some of those designs will fill the need for those who desire a thinner blade.

Thank you, Jerry. I knew there was a reason, of all knife makers, I keep coming back to Busse in search of my “perfect” knife.

Any chance to see this blade in A2?
Perhaps something along the lines of Basic9 from this overstock of INFI?

Cool video BTW, Let's see Dan splitting a potato, and batoning through a tomato with the knife ;)

Dan posted a video of the War Dog on You Tube carving a fuzz stick and doing some slicing.

Very cool! Thanks for that info Jerry. I do think, thickness aside, that handle is very appealing to many and looks like it is a real winner!

I'm down with the War Dog. Looks like a fine blade, we'll see when one slides this way. :)

Cool video! Can't wait to get mine! What's up with Dan not using SR-77 as much and using SR-101 more? Or does it just seem that way to me? I know the Scrapizashi is S-7 but it seems like most other recently released blades were SR-101 (Scrapper 5, all Regulators, Scrapivore). ............just wonderin'.......should probably just ask Dan at the Yard, huh? :)

Great video! I'm lovin the War Dog Tribute video as well-follows Dan's video. God bless the bomb sniffing War Dog! God bless my indestructible War Dog! Did I mention that it's a awesome name for a Scrapyard knife? RUF!

I agree... Respectfully offering one's opinion isn't "whining and crying", it's called feedback.

All these Bussekin fans haven't learned to trust that the guys that build these knives?

I look forward to the new thin stuff, but this War Dog is an ideal new blade for me.

And god bless all of you, who like the design. I’m just trying to figure out why someone would need so much steel in a 5” blade.

It's variety. I'd imagine some soldiers don't want to pack around something like a Team Gemini, but still want a thick enough blade to pry things open without snapping the blade.

Great video and that handle looks very very comfortable - can already imagine how my hand will lock right in behind the front guard. Should be real comfy :D

Thinking this will save me from buying an ESEE-4 when they are released in 440c stainless... We will see.

Thanks a lot for the video, really looking forward to getting this in my hands.
I have many other knives this size, none this thick though.

This knife is right down the middle for me. Blade length, weight, width, thickness, all right for a general purpose woods knife. Its one of those blades that will do a lot of things well and a few things really well. Who here doesn't always carry a SAK or small folder for really delicate tasks anyway?

Thinner? Who needs thinner?

I, and I think many others, are looking for a badass chopper. Bring on a dogfather sized chopper in SR101 with the new handle!! I'll buy 4!
Thanks for the video & information.
