I later wondered if it might be green canvas since the two on the right had a slight greenish tint to them, but that one on the left is noticeably more tan and I guess I focused on that one more initially.

They all look good though!

Did you mod the bottom one to add a lanyard attachment as it appears?

I won’t elaborate on what I did to that knife but yes I’ve had a lanyard hole. Yes they are all green canvas

Just a 1000 grit water stone, try it if you want to see how shallow the s grind is.

I'm sold on the S grind. I've only been testing on softwood so far but it cuts deep, especially with the speed you can get.

The picture they took is a little misleading. It's forced perspective. This one isn't small, but he's not considered to be huge either.

I was quite impressed with how nimble the SDFK is considering its size and weight. It excelled at quartering and did pretty well at skinning.

Thanks and yes! I should have also gotten a set of buffed ones. Did get another set of OD Green Micarta unbuffed, but will probably keep the B/R on there, so nice
