Sebenza lock up problem

If they had to fix it to correct the function of the knife it should have been a warranty repair. If the op paid for a spare blade he should have received his old one as well.

I disagree because then you have a blade that won't fit onto any sebenza properly then CRK takes a chance on seeing that blade again in another problem knife .

Bummer brother. Sorry to hear about a bad transaction. At this point you are still ahead of the game on a new one by a few bucks. Go get some scratches on her and brake her in good. You have a story to go with it now. In a few weeks/months, you'll forget all about it. Don't put $1000 worth of bad feelings into a $60 loss (if you even want to call it that). And now you have a perfect knife direct from CRK. Look on the bright side, it's a much nicer view.

If I open it normal this is what the lock looks like. There is no crk click sound I love to hear on my small. Also when the lock is there, I can not emphasize how little pressure needed to break the lockup.

This is the lock after I manually push the lock. And I worry if I tried to put serious pressure on it, the lock would fail like this as well.

No, but if you reread the whole thread, the answer to the problem will present itself.

thank you,
I reread the original post, no mention about the type of washers used, OR that it was reassembled wrong, OR that there was a pinched washer

Did you read the part were CRK determined the problem was a blade swap? One of the owners of this knife swapped blades, then sold it off to the OP. That was the real issue.
