To me that is like saying my Dodge Neon is comparable to a Lexus. The griptillian is a good knife but can not and will never be in the league as a Sebenza although I do not own one.
As I stated before, the car analogy just does not work.
A stock Lexus will generally
outperform a stock Neon.
The Lexus has a bigger engine, more horsepower, more torque, higher performance suspension, more responsive tranny, larger brakes, and more comforts than a Neon.
But, IMO, a Sebenza has no real performance advantage over a Griptilian.
The blade design of the drop-point Griptilian is excellent, as is the handle design.
It is simple one of the most comfortable knives I have ever used...and one of the best cutting ones.
And the Axis-lock is simply awesome.
I'll certainly give the Sebenza top ranking in several other categories however:
Resale value.
Long term durability (although both will out live me if bought new tomorrow).
Elitism.
Heirloom quality.
Fit-and-finish.
Fan loyalty.
Of course the Sebbie loses by a huge margin in the "bang-for-buck" category.
