Sebenza Regular blade replacement...looks like a no-go

Honest question... why won’t a non-reg blade fit in a reg? I thought I remember seeing one on the forum pictured.

The blade from a Classic/21 is a bit longer, and will stick out the end of the knife. Also the detent hole is in the wrong place, which allows the knife to open in your pocket. I tried it once, and have the scar to prove it.

Thank you! I am trying to remember the picture that I saw in a post… Did some of the p’s (or all of them) have a regular blade profile? It seems to me like I remember an older knife having a current 21 profiled blade. I’ll go looking... but this seems faster.

Edit: I apologize, I had it backwards. it was a 21 with a regular blade profile. Owned or posted by steel addiction I found in a past post.

I'm surprised I even still have the pic. This was way before you joined, at least with this account.

The knife above is a legit knife. I noticed it in another post a while back. Apparently this was made at a transition point somewhere along the line and they fit a Regular blade into "new" 21 handles. I'd love to have one like this because, well, it's very unique.
