I was like 2 mins late on that one!Someone sold an old "user" Sebenza 21 on the Exchange a few days ago for $200 if I remember correctly. Heck of a deal. Keep a close eye on the exchange and you might get lucky.
As for alternatives, I dunno.
The Sebenza. It’s expensive upfront but over the years it gets cheaper. I’ve had the same 21 for the last 3.5 years, which comes out to around $160 a year so far. I paid around 500 since it was a dealer exclusive. The Sebenza will pay for itself. Can you guys give me a good sebenza alternative?
Similar but different. Smoother PB washers opening, or choose bearings. A thumb hole vs stud. Blade is more drop vs clip. Milled clip vs bent. And of course flipper vs non-flipper. The sweet spot size. Availability. It’s an alternative that has some features that might vibe better with people. I find almost all Ti framelocks similar to a Sebenza. It’s the classic all want to emulate. There’s an element of similarity to them all.As much as I want an A.B Imamba with blue bone inlays, his knives look way too much like Chris Reeve. If knives were humans the Imamba would be a cousin to the Sebenza.
