I think even the small Sebenza has too long a blade for NYC.
Sebenzas and CRKs have pretty good detents, most people couldn't gravity shake them open. However if you know what you're doing almost any folder except slipjoints with a strong backspring or a small blade can be gravity shaken open.
If you hold the knife so the blade will open into reverse grip and snap your wrist downward in a hard semicircular motion almost any blade will be gravity shaken.
