I don't want to cut and paste from your site because you will probably whine about copyright, but to paraphrase, you state that after you tried to repair it, it looks ridiculously out of proportion and you get a sick feeling when you look at it.

I have not found a single post of yours in this thread discussing the value of CRK. All you have done is troll and try to stir things up.

I am not stating the negatives of CRK from a bandwagon. I am sure in your limited view that I am posting because I am on either of the bandwagons, for or against CRK. I am neither. So I pointed out which CRK models I don't like. But I do like others and I own these currently:

Hah! Yeah I want some Startacs, I just need to convince myself that the IM stamp on them is done tastefully enough. It was hard to tell from the pictures but it is actually a Buck 112 next to the small Sebenzas. The 110 is here and as you correctly stated, it is larger than the large Sebenzas. Here is how it relates to the Sebenza and some others:

l2lku2 - regardless of what I say to yank yer chain, I wouldn't put you on ignore. If I do that I can't watch my back, which you're stabbing at very heartily.

It's really poor form IMO to hotlink to an e-commerce site containing my work whether legal or not - probably not but who cares, it's the thought that counts. That one only contains the begininng of my episode with Chris Reeve. The final posting or rather short article containing disposition and my thoughts, doesn't exist on that site but on one of my real Wodpress blogs.

You've started stabbing at my back since earlier on when I was asking what the "bandwagon" was about. Accusing me of stalking CRK forum threads and trying to convince people not to buy CRKs Sebenzas via blanket statements and group think etc..

I feel like you're a stalker or something the way you have gone back through time, searching for and reading all of my my posts, following links I've posted and such to compile & then try and attack me with a circumstantial overload of evidence.

IMO, bumping the HRC up to 61 - 62 may be the action that "turns the worm" and restores these folders back to the top of the heap again. Just my $.02

As others have pointed out - their are bandwagons for every major brand. I'm not on CRK's like you aren't either. The difference is that you've chosen to make personal attacks for no apparent reason. I have not. What's between myself and Mr. Reeve is between us and you still don't know the whole story because you weren't on the phone with us. It wasn't fun being me on that phone call, try and trust me on that.

I still have the S35VN issue as the heart of what I'm talking about and you skew "that video taped evidence where current S35VN offerings are performing very poorly in such simple tasks of cutting a 3/8" bit of rope w/o a catastrophic failure of the edge" and make it sound as if it's an attack on CRK or maybe you? I don't know what makes you tick dude.

Chris was a player in the formulation of this steel but that's not me attacking him, it's a fact. I'd think his lack of interest and only one reply - that he cut 300 pieces of 3 wire cord and was left with a shaving sharp blade, strains credulity.

I've totally moved on over my Sebenza ownership debacles. Looking back, I should have kept my silver, double lug large 21 in S30V as that was a fine folder. Now I'm in 3 threads about S35VN and this one which is about CRK & S35VN (I think).

I still think Mr. Reeve should bump up the heat treat but I'm no expert by a long shot so I suppose it'll all be worked out in the end. It's too bad that the S35VN owners - IMO - got blades that are not so good.

I compliment you on your fine collection of fixed blades and folders, you certainly took me by surprise & have enough good knives to arm a small town. Despite having a ton of cool knives (an admirable accomplishment) I do find that your "out of the blue" slam in my back was unwarranted and bad form, like being subdued by the CRK police.

Chris doesn't care about a few dissenter I think, Lord knows there's been enough of them who've posted and got no replies. I'm used to better CS in $400+ folders. I've also been told that he's not a people person, and I have to respect that if I want to own his products in the future.

To sum up, I think that the Sebenza (don't know about the zaans) are very cool knives but as NutnFancy rates them "not high value knives." I'll leave it at that.

Don't flatter yourself. I did not go back and search through all your posts to find things. I was following most of those threads and your posts started annoying me because they were all trolling in nature IMO. So I wanted to find out what your problem was with CRK, so a simple search found your site and then your motives became clear.

And if you recall correctly, my initial post here did not address you directly. It is not in my nature to pick internet fights with random people. But your trolling type posts were starting to annoy me. So my initial post did not address you directly, but I had hoped that you would get the hint without me calling you out directly.

You then called me out directly with a disparaging remark about a vivid imagination. So here we are. I have no problem with you. I had read constructive posts from you in the past also. But with the CRK thing IMO you should have just taken it to GB&U, and if you had issues with specific "fans" on the bandwagon, address it with them directly. But stirring it up in thread after thread adds nothing. And your undertone of anybody owning CRK are on the bandwagon, fans incapable of making their own decisions, is insulting.

Oh, for someone who criticizes fan type behaviour, you certainly seem to be displaying a healthy amount of, Nutnfancy says so, so it must be so. What is your opinion man? He rated the SOG Flash 1 as his best EDC. It is a POS IMO. I evaluate each of his reviews on its own merit, I don't take anything he says as "true". That would be like being on the Nutnfancy bandwagon...


So I don't have a problem with you, just with your recent CRK relating trolling posts. I would have felt the same if they were not CRK related, but kept appearing in other threads that I read. I have no problem engaging with you on a more positive and constructive tone in future. I have said what I wanted to say.
