I just landed a job stabbing refrigerators so which one should I get?
Sounds like you need something on the other end of the scale... a Cold Steel Espada XL in G-10 should fit your needs.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

This is a no brainer.... everybody knows a Hnderer is better. But not until you hold a sebenza can you make a post about comparisons.
I saw one new for the exact same price as a Seb...but I was flat broke.I've never seen a Hinderer folder that wasn't roughly 2x the price of a Sebenza, so it'd darned well be at least twice as good...
Anyway, who cares, differant strokes for differant folks. They are both great knives. Just depends on what you're wanting in a knife.
Thought the point of a forum is discussion, not just reading reviews or watching youtube videos. Without this forum and post I would just keep thinking the sebenza is just the perfect grail knife and no one would listen to anything different. I started this post from the knowlege I gathered on this knife, and though most people just wanted to complain about the post, I did get a lot of knowlege from those who wanted to talk knives and defend their product, which convinced me that the sebenza is a great knife which I will soon have in my hands in the coming months. Its the people that want to get on rants back and forth off the knife topic that gets no one anywhere but on that banwagen. I want to thank the people who stayed on the topic of what this forum is about KNIVES, and gave me what I needed to hear, which is people standing by the sebenza and saying weather pleasant ornot how they fealt about this knife. If you don't like a post move on to another one. I am not going to kiss a## just because certain knife makers might be reading a post and complain to make themselves look better. Again thanks all of you who wanted to talk about these knives and not ego.
The honest answer is that it'll do as well as other knives with the same blade length and similar grind. How does the sebenza do for wilderness use such as cutting wood, whittling, cutting down small limbs, wet weather?

Just wow.one more thing, don't pick apart something someone writes to make them look bad, you are the problem. I see people on this forum taking the time to pick out previous posts I made and bring them into this forum that is pathetic. If you are going to find one line out of a thousand and showcase it to make someone look bad you are the bully. It is tough to express through typing, but I will not go out of my way to show someone up. I am trying to learn more about KNIVES, not people people being snobby nitpicking hypicritical aholes.
It would probably do fine but look at a fixed blade instead. How does the sebenza do for wilderness use such as cutting wood, whittling, cutting down small limbs, wet weather?

Jonsa,
I could make a strong case that this whole thread of yours is a troll.
Time to stop trolling.

I will never understand why people find it necessary to compare the XM-18 with a Sebenza........
They are both extremely good knives which are different in many ways. One or the other will appeal to the end user for different reasons.
Buy both and work out which one you like and sell the other (unless you want to keep both)
That was my nice answer........
Here is my other answer: STOP TROLLING.
