Second Round

I don't play the game at all. I've sold many and can't think of one time I've made money. Lost a little on one I bought at Blade(tax) this week and I have on a few others. That was my choice, I could have held them a bit longer and broke even real easy. Sure, I'll make a profit sooner or later but I will never buy a knife with making a quick profit as motive.

Now if you get something very, very few were made of with keeping it in mind, and later decide or need to sell I would ask market value or a bit less. Same goes on any older Busse. I pay market value on those and expect to.

So far on my Busse's that have went up I have used for trade. I just don't feel good about marking something up, and trading more often than not is the only way you will get the one's you really want.

That's just me, and if all in the world were the same it would be one boring place. It is America and people are free to do as they wish. I don't get upset at people for quick flipping a knife and don't dislike anyone for it. I just try not to buy from them. Now someone being an azz in the room is the only thing that gets to me...and that shouldn't, but it does.

I certainly owe him, because that is how I got the ones I wanted. I also ended up getting about 5 extras plus a BATAC LE and I threw them all back as well. No FLIPPING here[/B]

Yep, Tony and I covered each other on the F5'ing that day. He got my back while I was out of internet reach, and I did the same for him. He made sure I got my three before he let his cache go. I agree with Cobalt. If FLIPPERs had gotten to them first, the slow trickle never would have happened.

Some fish still in that pond...:D:D

No matter what you said earlier, I know YOU ARE ITCHING TO PULL THE TRIGGER!!! ITCHING!!! :D

I have yet to actually turn a profit on anything I have sold. In fact, I have lost money on several blades. Again, NO REGRETS! On the flip side, I know people have profited from my puchases, again NO REGRETS. Like I said earlier, a knife's worth is what the individual buying it thinks it is to her or him.

I just pulled the trigger on a BATACLE- I've been on the fence for this one for a while, I figured "why not"! This'll be my first LE- I can't wait!

The rumor that I had heard about the green linen/satin GW's were there were approximately under 30 of them. ...No, I'm not able to reveal my source, sorry!

I'm sure they are more than the 18 number I heard about.
I would guess 27:cool:

No, no change that to 26, I lost one of mine in the lake:D
If Jaxx thinks there are 27 he may go after them all and I want to keep mine

Well said Phil:thumbup:

Get ready to Poop yer pants. The BATACLE is a crazy, sweet blade. You will be happy. VEEEEEEERRRRYYYY HAPPY!! :D

Those LE's are nice. #1's really nice. ;) I'm hoping to see mine Monday. (not number 1 though. )

My God! I would hate to drop either end on my toe

Is it the angle or did Ducci or Ban chop your LE. The black tie looks longer in the handle and blade....or am I just really messed up

I love those two GW's. The Black Tie has the thinest slabs of any...it is way overlooked I think. Wish I had kept my extra one.

Those two, the satin green linen and satin smog are my four favorites by far.

Thanks for that pic, Jaxx. I think it was my memory of that image that pushed me over the edge. Those handles do look a bit flat until you give them "the business". Then they're lookin' hot! That'll be the first thing I do when my Batacle arrives. Then I'm gonna cut some serious air. Then I'm gonna get drunk and beat the everlovin' s*#t out of it.

On a separate note, it looks like everyone received their scores from Tuesday already except me. *snif* Looks like I may be on the losing end of "all but 10 have shipped". C'mon Skunker! Show me that satin buddy!

Nope. It's me who's messed up. That is my Active Duty with the black paper scales. The Black Tie Wardens hadn't been introduced yet when the picture was taken. I fixed the caption in the original post.
