I've only been a member for a short time, but this place is the best resource I've seen from any forum for info, opinions and general knife advice (and other advice sometimes too). Thanks for keeping this a great place!!!
 
Thanks Spark. As always lots of jokes and humor about it, but having been an internet forum junkie from the earliest days of easy access (always looking for info on my favorite hobbies) I can honestly say that this is one of the BEST sites out there for anyone interested in knives, the general outdoors, and any of the myriad of other topics on here. The info is great and the people are awesome.

I'm a member on a couple of other sites, one of which I'm a mod on (I still spend more time here lmao). One of them went almost totally commercial and it's really killed the participation on the site, IMO. Not only is the owner always trying to sell his wares, the ads in general are just out of control. I'll never fault anyone for trying to run a successful business, but the change from a informational forum to a business ran a lot of the longtime members away. The sad part is that it's one of the deals where the owner REALLY doesn't NEED the money. He just wants it.

I really respect you for keeping the site as it is. Thanks again.

I only readily visit 4 different forums, 2 out of the 4 have so many ads that I find myself going there less and less. It's just too much hassle trying to wade through all the crap just to find some info or read an interesting thread that its just not worth it. Thanks for making this place such a cool place to hang out, Spark.

That's a relief. And here I thought we were going to have to find another place to rave on about our knife obsession.

Next time though, do my heart a favour and save this kind of post for April 1st!
 
The is a great site shame if it were to be ruined because of a person's greed to monetize it.
 
Well, all I can add - It´s my most visited site in the whole www There´s no other place I use to spend more time.

I really like the community here. Great people are spending time, knowledge and patience with newbees.

Thank you Spark for giving us this blade lover's paradise. Im new here, and Im new to knives so Ive been asking for basic info, and everybody here is so knowlegeable and patient with me. Im so impressed by the class of my fellow knife addicts. I would just like to thank everyone for your class, knowlege, respect, honesty, and patients. And thank you again Spark, for being generous enough to make this all possible. :tears_of_joy:
