My luck has dried up I fear but depending on what it is I might be ready for a tromp in the woods.

That was a thread of awesomeness, it should be in the FAQ thread for Freakin’ Awesome Quality. The old title “Yet Another Contest….” just didn’t do it justice, haha.
 
I give it a go. I ain't that good, but I'm gettin' better. A new ESEE a month for a year, hell yeah I'm in. Moose
 
Sounds like some good fun, i would be in but dont have a "Rat Pack" number yet..... But i have been working on that!!!!!
 
that sounds most excellent. Just today I was working on my fire starting skills. This novice still has much to learn... perhaps a new knife every month will help....
 
Absolutely! I'm not too good either but what an opportunity to learn some stuff and get better. And as always, thanks for the generosity.
 
Im pretty sure bladefrorums rules say you have to be gold or higher these days for contests so us blue guys won't be able to participate.

However if ESEE posts the contest on facebook anybody can give it a try.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong
 
Whatever it is, I'm going to bust my ass during the week at school so I have weekends free to participate =)
 
This sounds like fun. That will be an awesome price for the winner and runners up. Looking forward to what TTD and the shotgunners will come up with!

Sounds good to me, I for one would LOVE to be able to give my friends a bunch of ESEE knives if I were getting one a month free!
 
How about one contest per month for the next twelve months that has to do with outdoor survival. That way there's a chance to get outside in all climates and work on a wider variety of skills?
 
Will the ESEE4-MIL-CP be in production by then? I would love to win one of those ;):D
 
Put all the interested contestants in the woods with the ESEE survival kit and a knife. The last one to give up and come out wins.

This has the added benefit of being filmable so that Jeff could shop it to TV producers as a pilot for a real Survivor show.

Weekly video updates here on the forum would allow us to get a pool going for side-bets.

You could introduce things into the environment from time to time to make things interesting. Like, oh, a hot chick with a pizza after a couple of weeks. Something like that.
