Trying to make head and tail of that one, did you send payment before or after he said it was sold to to "Destine2devoid" ? As suggested you should also contact him to see if the seller has been in further contact. Whilst not a good look this has the potential to be a mix up as opposed to a scam.

Just the whole thing seemed out of sorts

I mean member from 2014 154 posts 4 feedbacks , red flag. Not sure what sebenza he has might be small? Really? Dosent have his Samsung galaxy 7 so can't take a pic dude you fell through all the holes. And I sent ya a warning it seemed like a scam.
 
ive been buying on and off here since 2004, only ever had one member screw me over, i typically trust the forums here for the most part. i get the no picture thing, i usually dont post a pic because most of the time im on my phone and the interface for uploading from a phone is cumbersome. i dont think the post count is too low, he actually had feedback, if it was a first post and no feedback i would not have responded. ive bought cheap beater sebenzas before so i wasnt shy about that.

I'm not a big fan of long timespans between communications when money and internet anonymity are involved. Text messaging and e-mail alerts are common and accessible these days. It's beyond convenient to be prompt and timely. Two days between communications is WAY too long.

Beware of the "family emergency" play for public sympathy and distraction. It's a common tactic when red flags start to go up. It literally takes minutes to write a sentence or two from a phone, which makes that one yet another red flag to add to the list.

If I were you, I'd file a PP claim and start over when the seller is ready to complete what they start.

How did you pay ? And if with PayPal was it gift ?
 
It's weird how you called first dibs then sent payment then the seller says first guy (you OP) didn't go thorough.
