Server busy at moment,try again later??????

I think the advent of some "inexpensive" (I know ...) Busse knives, particularly that SAR blade, brought people out in record numbers.

Wish there was some way we could do this without inconveniencing everyone else. :(
 
In Response to the apology by Old Physics, No worries mate. We are all knife nuts, if the Hogs have a Ganzza every once in a while, so what? I am here for the knives as all of us are. I can deal with being shut out for the sake of others who want the Busses. More power to ya. Perhaps one day we will have a server large enough to handle the Ganzza and us folder guys. Until then, Don't worry about it, I am not.

I know our peculiar brand of kool-aid drinking insanity is unusual, and our exuberance can be a bit ... unnerving. It's good to know we haven't gone completely off the reservation. :D;)
 
At 3:45 PM MST today, I just got about 5 minutes of "server too busy...". When it finally came back up, I checked and there were only about 680 users online.
 
14:30 EST- For the last 2 hours or so, I have been getting serious lags when moving about the forum (in/out of threads/sub-forums). This doesn't happen every time, but very often. Somtimes it takes up to a minute for the forum/thread to open.
 
Mark, I have had zero problems today, as fast as it could load, the pages pop. Any chance the problem is in your machine? I know you have probably cleared all your cookies and temp files, but if you have not, I would try that. because on this end of Alabama, it is fast.

It's only happening here at BF, and even then not in every thread/forum (but particularly when trying to enter BF's homepage), but I will try clearing my cache and cookies.
 
I had a couple of glitches tonight, one just a few minutes ago. Cleared right up, though.
 
i havent had any server busy messages but the forum is slow. it took forever to get logged in this morning, over 7 minutes. i have no problems with other sites loading.
 
Took SIX minutes to get to this thread from the email link, then took same time to get reply posted.

Logging off. System is obviously having some problems. Been this way for at least 3 hours.

BFC is crawling this morning.

Pages will load but they take quite a while. Other websites seem to load just fine.

I see others are having a similar experience.
