SEXIEST Bk5 on the PLANET contest

one more thing, clich - could you do a quick description of your patina process? I know I read it here somewhere. Could you post the link? I won't try to do the exact same thing, but it's always good to know the different ways you can stain a blade.

Thrills got ya. And don't worry about doing what I do. Its the reason I made the how to. If you like a pattern do it. Ill only sue you for a small amount of money :D. Jk. No worries at all, if I wanted to keep it to myself I would just shoe off the fancy patterns, say its proprietary, then charge for admission. Not my cup of tea. Plus in reality the reaction kinda has a mind of its own so no two are exactly alike. I've seen some on here that followed my instructions that came out way nicer than I ever did.

I hear ya. Got some ideas in mind. Just saw thrillbilly's thread, and it seems like you have created a VERB!!! lol, this project is going down for the weekend. Still not decided on which knife to do, tho.

btw - the becker forum should hold a "knife of the month (or week)" thread. Seems like BK&T knives are the most modded knives on this site.

Is this suggestion worthy of getting me a Beckerhead number??? lol

I'm gonna say, no... But it's Bladlite's decision.

Im thinking about buying a 5 and modding it just to enter this contest. I would already own one if it weren't for the choil. Looks like a nice knife to keep in the car.

value is a funny thing, but not my call; it's YOURS the people :> to some extent. though it's m00se's toy as well.

what is quality phaedrus? :)

"i'm too lazy to use the search function" is not a post of value :> probably.

posting a thread with 20 awesome pictures of your Beckers in action? yes, definitely

Dude, you can only have a sexiest BK-5 if Jerry Fisk himself has fondled it.

Clich,

You are messing with my head now. All I can think about is a beautiful BK5 with the micarta grips! I am turning into some sort of monster!!!

Gratefully,

muck

darn it. Ok I'm gonna start snapping the BK crew in action!!! not sure how many posts I have on the BK&T forum, gonna find out.

tips

I resisted ordering one but I just caved.

I'm also expecting the bk15 and bk17 and I can't see myself keeping all 3.

why not keep all 3??? collecting BK's is fun! it's like G.I. Joe for grown-ups. Accesories sold separatley, or you can make your own.

I don't want all three and I don't want to "collect" anything. How do you think I got the name Collecter with an E?

I might keep 2 and resell or gift the one I don't want.
