Shallow carry clips for ZT0561.

They're your knives and no one else's. Modify them however you wish.

Personally, I don't need two clips as I only carry mine right side or in the back left pocket.

Well, in my observation, the 0600 is interesting because for a knife design that has pretty much no straight lines, the clip itself is very straight. Nevertheless, I totally love the clip, as it doesn't flare out and has just the right amount of tension.

It's not bad. Very stylish. But it sort of leads me to believe that whatever doesn't strike people as acceptable about the clips I just attached to the 561 probably has to do with the length (mostly), and the parallel edges (tapered looks better), and the color (way too shiny). I might go to the trouble of fixing those, just to satisfy the style gurus... but, it's only a pocket clip for heaven sake.

The offense-taking is not surprising to me, although I'm a little surprised I indulged in it myself. That stuff is about as human as human gets and I'm sure our Star Trek or Uplift descendents will be very embarrassed for us.

I'll be completely honest, I have nothing against the pocket clips as far as aesthetics goes, however seeing two clips on a knife makes me laugh. I don't know why but it makes me think of bug legs

I take it back. You don't know what scandal is. Which is odd, because the dictionary has a picture of you in a toga, under scandal.

Well...I've never had a dictionary with pictures in it. If there were one, however, I'd think they'd have a picture of the very attractive Kerry Washington under "Scandal."

Season premiere, by the way, is October 3rd at 10/9 Central on ABC.

So yeah...fire whoever writes your jokes.

Stick... Oh never mind. No, I should say it. Every time you open your mouth you scandalize. It's not something that happens in Hollywood, it's from a Greek term that means "stumbling block." And it's not really a joke. Think about it.

I should not be following you down that tube. No one should. But sometimes it's an itch I just have to scratch. I think you know what I mean.

I actually have no idea what you mean, but I don't normally open my mouth when I type...so I'm not certain what you're driving at. I also don't speak Greek, although admittedly it's on the list of Rosetta Stone language packs I'm planning on picking up.

I don't know what you mean you don't know what I mean. Of course you do. And now you know for sure. Kudos.

Freewheeling, a comment and a question:

- You asked "What do you think?" I think you're a nut, but that's another subject. If you want to put 4 clips at a time on your knives, go for it.
- Why are you derailing your own thread?

I'm a little late to the party, but here's my take.

That looks horrible, and cheap
This, is ok. This is his opinion on the clip. This wasn't rude in the slightest, it was honesty.

man, you being inexperienced is an understatement....
This however, is not. This is going at the OP, rather than the topic of the thread. This WAS uncalled for, and rude.

greeenie, I hope we can remain friends :p

I use two clips on my Karambits, but you can get really nice ones with that standard three-hole design. The Ti ones are only about $5. Lots of people use two clips on Karambits so they can decide last minute which pocket to carry it in (which means you train with both sides). The 561 is so thin that two clips makes it more rather than less comfortable, even if you have small hands like mine.

While I think that is a GREAT idea, I don't know why you would need two clips. Admittedly, I know nothing about karambits except they have a hooked blade on one end, and a finger hole on the other end. But it seems to me, for a regular knife, you can carry it on either side and still train both sides. You'll be trained to withdraw it from the left pocket differently than the right, but if you're consistent, I don't see whey that is any different than training to close a liner- or frame-lock with your opposite hand without cutting off a finger. Not saying there is anything wrong with two clips, but I just opine that for me, it is more convenient to just clip the same clip on the opposite pocket and press on. But, I don't think you're trying to convince me of the gospel of two clips, so no worries. Just different mileage.

My head hurts...:(

I think freewheeling and sticktodrum are debating well above my head...
