Shaman sprints - any news?

3v with micarta would be awesome.
I love that diamond pattern g10 from the 2013 forum native.
Blue diamond pattern g10 with m390 would be slick too.
I'd love that same configuration on a manix 2 as well.

^^You and me both. I'd be content with G-10 scales, but I'd really like to see canvas Micarta. A worn canvas Micarta handle and an M4 blade with a natural patina would be absolutely gorgeous in my eyes.
 
Well, seeing as you asked...

I don't have a Shaman yet. I like your S30V well enough but have several folders with it already, and am waiting for something else in a Shaman.

My first choice in steel would be Elmax. Tough stainless with such a great balance of edge holding and ease of sharpening, for a strong tough user of a folder. My Elmax Para2 sees a lot of use and has very much influenced me here.

Based on the blade steels I have used I would certainly be happy with M390/S90V/M4/Cruwear.

Scale material, doesn't really bother me, G10 is fine if that helps with the selling price. Though micarta would definitely be very cool.

Cruwear or PD1 would my first choice but M4 or 4V would be great too.

Seeing as how this is already an expensive knife CF would put it out of my reach. Also, since it has a stout grind I chose a tougher steel and would thus choose a more durable material like G10. Putting a tough steel in a stout platform with CF doesn't make sense to me. In my eyes a Cruwear Shaman would be a hard use knife.

Hmmm since we know it will be high dollar anyhow I think we can squeeze in a premium steel without blowing up the price too much scale material changes might but if we just shift the color of the G-10 we shouldn't see much of any production cost change there. I like the Green G-10 mentioned and I am not thinking actual green G-10 not the Jade tone natural G-10 myself. There are so many steel options trying to think what would be a good fit and not something we might see in as much in typical exclusives. I think Elmax might be my top pick for steel choice given how likely most others are to be used. I could also see CruWear or Maxamet as some other top picks.
 
I am altering my first request: Micarta with any blade steel or even a Micarta blade.
