I had ordered a folder from Jim Adam on 11/3/2010.
I made full payment of USD$400 to him on 15/11/2010.
After transfering the money, it is becoming very hard to get him on the mail.
After i keep on tracking him on the forum to tell him that he got mails,
then i was told that my blade was shipped out on 6/1/2011 without any picture of the item and tracking number.
I had been waiting for more then a month, the item did not delivered to me. He then told me the item was lost in mail and promised to return me the money. I told him to transfer the money to another blade maker thus paypal and he agreed. And he disappear again. I want to see how he is going to explain abt this issue.

After the first run around, why would you trust him to transfer your claimed money, to another person/maker. How would you ever prove the "transfered" funds from his account to another persons were yours to begin with. If the transaction even went through, the funds are coming from his account with his address behind it, once again leaving you cold if something went wrong. Why would you involve another maker in this mess?
Strikes me kind of odd.....

His responses to the last thread were pitiful and didn’t do him any good.

There’s a difference between an honest mistake and habitual B.S.

I was going to get one of his folders based on the pictures he posted, then to see what people actually got and his response to the promblems, "Thank you". Well that does not cut it with me. There a bunch of other makers that will be getting my funds. Thank you Jim?

Even if I don't want him to transfer the money to other maker,
he should transfer back to me or responce back my mails

Does anyone know why he changed his handle here to "Jim Adam"? He still goes by "Black Toe Knives" on other forums.

Yes, I do. I hated not having my name on my knives. When I started out I thought it would be cool to have logo or company name. So I started out as Blacktoe Knives, or the initials BTK the same as BTK Killer, oops. So now knowing that custom Knifemakers actually use their names. I changed it.
I will gladly send you receipts where I started to change my name over in my Logo wear, Business cards, and website over a year ago.
When I renewed my membership this year I also changed my name to Jim Adams Custom.

Jerzee devil's policy on name changes

Remember if Delwin hadn't lied to me. There would be no GBU thread.

I am a maker that Delwin has contacted to build a knife for him. It was his suggestion that he have Jim send the funds to me for the knife that I will be building him. At no point has he ever asked me to make a copy of Michael Burch's Dao folder. I Have a folding tanto that he has asked me to make and that is what I will be building. I will even post pictures and a WIP if I need to do so to prove that it is his knife.

Regards,
Chuck

good choice on choosing Chuck .

Seems Mr Delwin is being truthful about his Money and that is it. Mr Delwin approached me to make an exact copy of Michael Burch's Damascus Dao. I didn't know the knife was Michael's till I send my Drawings to my parts Guy. He called me and told me, "he had the drawing already" because he makes Michael's parts. Now Mr Delwin has found someone to make him a knife.

I asked Mr. Delwin for address,to send his money back.

Mr Delwin shame on you, for asking me to make Michael Burch's knife. I have contacted the his knifemaker and I have got no response to even send a Paypal Payment. Chuck has contacted me and we are settling this matter for Mr. Delwin.

I have addressed the subject and I am done here.

Jim,
In the first place if you dont want to build the knife i wanted, you could reject me. But, you did say you wanted to build it and send out without even sending a picture of the thing you send. Jim, i am a buyer, you are a maker, there are different position between you and me.
Second, you are certainly hard to contact. You should be customer service orientated if you are selling things. Trust is not by talks, but by actions. You should update me with my issue, not ignoring my mails.
I did send a email of Chuck account, do you want me to paste all the mails we have exchanged??
As for Chuck, i had asked him to make a tanto for me. He is the first knife maker i contacted to make a knife for me before you. But i needed to wait until feb to be my turn for his blade, so i contact you to make one other knife. He had alot of nice works to choose from, so i dont even need to think of one when he already have the skills to make one unique knife. And please, this issue is between me and you, stop pulling everyone in the whole world to cover your ass.
I dont think i am the only one having issue with you. Sometimes, for the better future for yourself, you really need to improve on your customers service.
Pardon me of my poor english. I seldom type so many words in forum.
When Jim, i wrote this out not because of wanting to kick you ass, but i want you to improve.

Regards,
Delwin

Sorry Chuck for pulling you into this shit hole.
Jim wanted to transfer me the money. But to cut cost as i dont have a paypal acc, so i want him to transfer the money to Chuck instead. I had contact Chuck long before Jim to make a knife for me. But i needed to wait until Feb for my turn. Sorry again Chuck for pulling you into this.
