I kind of agree with the above. I'd not have found this thread if not for the deleted post in the sale forums.

To me, I can't pass any judgment but it really underscores the necessity of good communication skills on both sides...

Hope it works out ok for both of you.

you really should not reply in his current sale thread. poor form on your part!!!!!!

Depends on whether he got his money back or not...if not..then other potential customers should be made aware of any potential risk in dealing with this maker. He shouldnt be selling anything on here if this issue hasnt been resolved.

There is a protocol for these issues, hence this section of the forum.

The protocol is meant for protecting buyers or seller??
As he promised to refund me, and I had sent him my contact, but he have not reply me when is he sending out my money. Nor did he give a dead line when to return me the money. He should not be selling anything before he refund me my money.

Seems Mr Delwin is being truthful about his Money and that is it. Mr Delwin approached me to make an exact copy of Michael Burch's Damascus Dao. I didn't know the knife was Michael's till I send my Drawings to my parts Guy. He called me and told me, "he had the drawing already" because he makes Michael's parts. Now Mr Delwin has found someone to make him a knife.

I asked Mr. Delwin for address,to send his money back.

Mr Delwin shame on you, for asking me to make Michael Burch's knife. I have contacted the his knifemaker and I have got no response to even send a Paypal Payment. Chuck has contacted me and I have choose to send Delwin a Money order and he can deal directly with Chuck. I have addressed the subject and I am done here.

Right out of the box, this is your response to a customer complaint?
Yikes. Good luck in the knife business Sir.

I had just got a mail from him that once he have that amount of money, he will return me.

Interesting, what was it? 400 dollars?
If he is really operating a business with less than four hundred dollars operating capitol then you both have my deepest sympathies.

I hope all ends well for everyone involved.

That sounds a lot like "I'll pay you back someday," which is not good enough to keep you out of jail. How about a payment plan with one or more actual dates for payment(s)?

sure put up a good show about wanting to return the money even though the money was not there and never was his to spend....

Not looking good .

Rule # 1 , never spend a customers $$ , until you know he is satisfied with the product .

I will update you guys once every 2 days of him.

Delwin, patience is a virtue my friend, it can only take you so far though.
