Sir, I have nothing to say to you. We are done here.

*Facts one is your Lie to started this fiasco, Sir tell thes fine gentleman that I am liar and everything I said is a lie. Your Lie may have damaged my reputation. I don't think it has, anyway I still am making knives.

Delwin if I was your mother, I would be so proud how you screwed this American over.

This situation isn't over until Delwin gets his money, so the quicker you get it to him the quicker you two can be done here. That's why it would work out in your favor if you posted some proof that you sent his money...if you did send the money that is.

mods in this forum. Sorry that my patience run out.
I lower myself once and again just for him to return me the money.
As from all those pages, you can see he is out to cheat me.
I know i am wrong about not knowing that it is a taboo to copy someone work.
Do you still allow this guy to cheat others??
Since he has no plan to return me the money. Then i will have to take actions to ruin his reputation. That mean he only worth $400.
Jim, i sincely ask you to reconsider before you write again, cos all that you write could lead you into a very serious law suit. And i would like to let you know i still have all the emails we exchanged.

Delwin, sir you yet to tell these fine gentleman that the knife you wanted me to make wasn't Michael Burch's. Sue me for what stated the fact you are a Liar and I can back that up in court with emails and documentation.

Dude, I don't make knives for the money. I make knives because I want to.
It is not my career but my passion. So there is no professional suicide. Since I make knife to make knives

Dude....probably a good thing this is nothing more than a hobby to you.

Would it matter? Even if I did post a copy of the money order you would still still run me down. Because that is who you all are.

He owned up to the fact that it was not his design, and now he knows better. A good learning experience for him.

The lies remain on you- Claiming to have shipped the knife, now teasing him about not sending his refund.

Not the behavior of an honest man.

Dude, I sent the damn refund already. Now are you calling me a liar? What fact do you have that I have not sent the refund? I didn't think so.

Guys, thanks for helping me out.
I think this thread is long enough.
The rest i would like to left it to the US law to decide what will be the out come.
Once again thank you guys.
Start from today, he will have 7 days to post a original tracking of the money he need to sent to me.
After the 7 days, i will leave it to the US consumer law to take over.

Seems like there is a fuzzy line between being inspired by a design and copying a design. Lets face it, the design in question is heavily inspired by traditional Chinese knives. So, is Burch knocking off Chinsese knifes. There's some irony for you... Adams himself admits to selling a knife sold as a "Bob Loveless Hunter." I'm pretty sure that Mr. Loveless didn't individually authorize every copy, knockoff, and Loveless "inspired" piece ever made. And, I'm pretty sure the Loveless shop didn't see any royalties from the sale of the Adams Bob Loveless Hunter, or any others...

Other design elements that are routinely copied without authorization from the original designer...
Michael Walker Liner Lock
The liner lock from which Michael Walker took his "inspiration."
Frame lock
"Flippers"
The americanized Tanto. Now there is some irony that this one came from Lynn Thompson.
etc.

So, Adams was sent an outline of a knife with overall specifications that match those of another maker. There are only so many ways that you can make a folding knife with a flipper, a traditionally shaped dao blade, and an ergonomic handle. No one is inventing the wheel here. Point, edge, handle. There are only so many ways to make a knife. Given the sketch provided, ten makers could come up with 10 designs that resemble each other in outline only, yet totally and solely reflect THEIR artistic characteristics.

The bottom line is that Jim Adams was commissioned to produce a knife. He decided not to make the knife, after buying materials. He then lied to the customer about the whole affair until the customer came here to vent his frustration.

PS. Jim, you're being overly witty with your math. 20% APR on $400 held for 3 months would be $20, except for the effects of compounding. My car loan compounds daily, and given that scenario, 20% APR would work out to $20.50. I think you meant to quote 20% APY...

But earlier he posted he was able to jack up his prices 25%? its just all over the place now. And getting hard to watch to be honest.

Huh? I sold a bowie the week before for 300$ then this week sold a bowie for 400. Check my post. No but I did have a commission off BF for $400.00. I can send you the emails if you like.
