I’m starting to think a little of both…. Same cat got stuck up in another tree an hour later…. And one of the kids told me it had to be rescued a few days ago as well. “Stuck in a tree hypochondriac” me thinks

I take it that there are few if any coyote up your way? Lots of the free roaming kitties down here end up "disappeared".

We have coyotes. My cat’s a indoor cat. Chris’ family’s cats have a barn to sleep in and he’s got a big bright light out by it that keeps the coyotes away.

Coyotes are very good about avoiding bright lights. Our friends have automatic spot lights and the coyote have memorized the pattern of the light so they walk a circuit to avoid triggering the lights. Clever beasties.

yep super smart animals and very stealthy....

they hang around my place occasionally. luckily the peafowl are also super aware and let me know when ones around.

Chris needs a Karl peacock too.....they love to warn ya when somethings moving around, especially a kitty predator.......
