I don't know what it is about the way those Boker barlows look - they just seem very...sturdy. In a good way.
 
Yup - it's bone. Came across that lockback a while ago and couldn't resist. I think it looks even cooler in the flesh than in the pic. And talk about smooooth action...

I've been trying to avoid buying a Boker Bird knife. Since I have a couple of Camillus. You ain't helping me any here. :) I like it.

Just received this Cooper era ( 77-83, also read early 70's) US made Boker 1/2 congress , came complete with box & paperwork.

My only Boker,I assume it started out as a Spear Point because of the remnants of a swedge & I haven't seen a Clip Point 493 with a swedge.

Thanks, the snap is great on it, Boker never disappoints, it's never been used or carried.springs flush on both blades at 1/2 stop, nice little knife.

I can't believe I missed this Böker thread when it started. I have only one, a Medium Stockman, that I enjoy VERY much. Am thinking of topping off my collection with an Olive Wood Copperhead Evergreen or maybe Camp Knife Evergreen. Peter...Thanks for the history lesson.....
