Photos Sharing CRK Art - My CRK Collection

Enjoyed them very much! Thanks for your ongoing contributions to the forum. It really is educational for me, and probably for a lot of others.

Thank you! I'll be posting a lot more pics in here, going into detail on some of the graphics.

In the meantime, here's a pic of my entire collection taken in 2011. I still have 3 of the knives in the pic. :)

And here I found a pic taken in early 2012, with my first 17 CRK's. I still have 4.

11 to 17 to more than 100, they reproduced fast!! Good thing you don't have to feed them:)

That's for sure! :o . Especially when I consider how many I've actually had pass through my hands. Here's a pic from the tail end of 2012, when I had 36 CRK's altogether. I took this pic right before the beginning of the first of many selldowns. I marked through the 23 that have moved on, I still have 13. 2 of them are on the......errr......block.

And here's the unmarked version of this pic. I've used it many times tell new collectors here "This is your future. :D ".

And here's a pic of just the Mnandis I had at the time. I still have the top 2 and the bottom 2.

Just the large Sebs, of which I still have 4. The Les George is also long since gone...

And the small Sebs, of which I still have only the 3 with graphics...

Just a little detour from CRK's, around the same time the pics right above were taken I also accomplished another collecting goal. I got the double trifecta of Hinderers, all 3 sizes of both Spanto and slicer grinds. That was insanely exensive at the time!

And the whole herd at the time....

Wow that's a nice set! Those blades look brand new, great knives the Hinderers. I only have one of those in CPM-20CV, camo, I like it a lot...

By springof 2013 I'd really discovered graphics.... I was screwed. This is what I had at the time, minus one. For some reason the one I call Moonrise didn't get in this pic. I still have all except the one at the top, a large diamond Plate.

Most were new, some definitely were not. That's the thing with Hinderers, you beat the crap out of them and it barely shows.

How true; a girl after my own heart[emoji108]

:D :D

If you go back up to the pic with 17 CRK's, you also see my first 2 Hinderers in the top row. The one in the middle with the red scale was my beater, and it took some abuse in the sandbox. You could tell by looking at the scale, but nowhere else. I sold it as the user it was, the buyer PM'ed me back after he got it asking if I'd mistakenly sent him a new knife. They aren't beautiful like CRK's are, but they're awesome knives.

Yeah I noticed those in the pic, that's a cool story, and yes they are pretty awesome. Every collector should experience one at least, I think.

Since this is about your collection, you mind sharing what or how your real love for CRK started? Just the beauty of the thing? I doubt there is anyone here who would complain to hear that...

One Very Sick RainDrop that one is a real nice score.

It's an awesome one, that's for sure. If you go back to the first page of this thread you can see a pic of Chris holding it. He told me he remembered doing that graphics and grinding the blade on it. Here's an older pic of the same knife that I found n the internet a while back. Just.... WOW!

I've always liked knives. Even growing up I always had one in my pocket whenever I could, used them all the time. After I was grown I'd buy some from time to time. Bucks when they were made here, Schrades, Gerbers, Case, mostly the mainstream stuff. I had quite a few over the yers, then I got interested in swords and also fantasy style knives. I got Katanas, a Claymore, and a lot of the fantasy stuff like Gill hibben, Star Trek Klingon knives, etc. Those were fun, but you couldn't carry them. I started looking for better stuff, and discovered Randall. I also found out they bypassed the wait for military, so I sent them a copy of my ID and 6 weeks later I had my first Randall. I was hooked. Now I wanted an equally nice folding knife, so I joined BF to learn. I started looking closely at CRK, and on a whim, I snagged this African Blackwood small Classic off the Exchange.

Since I was deployed by then I had a few weeks to read up even more on what I had coming. I realized I'd pretty much jumped in at the top, and when the knife arrived I knew I was right. Smooth action like no cheaper knife could ever dream of. So I bought another. And another. And another.............

I don't still have it. I've turned it loose 3 times, it came back twice. If it comes back again its here to stay. I miss that one.
