Sharpest production knife out of the box you have ever got?

Another vote or the leek with upgraded steel exactly how sharp did it come? Shaving or treetopping? Etc

Yeah, those two Kershaws pictured are I believe the only factory edged knives that I've ever had treetop hair right out of the box. :)

My new Spyderco Endura 4 FFG in ZDP-189 came sharp enough out of the box to slice TP pretty clean.

So I would say that is the sharpest production knife that I have ever seen yet.

The Cold Steel Konjos came out of the box tree-topping hair. Expensive knife for what they were - but workmanship was really top notch.

Mine would definitely be the kerhsaw junkyard dog with the SG2 super steel not the standard junkrayd dog, theres a huge difference.

My Spyderco Police. It is one of the few serrated blades I have, and it cuts like a laser. It is so sharp, I have been able to do the same kind of cutting with it I usually do with a utility razor. Just amazing.

By far the sharpest out of the box I have ever received was my Kabar Mini Dozier folding hunter

Mine too, it's still pretty dang sharp and I have never sharpened it. Got the thing in 1998 and it's still going strong.

I got my leatherman in about 98/99 as well and never sharpened it for years, and it stayed sharp

ok all bias aside and to be totally honest regardless of cost....

Spyderco Persistence..........................................................
