It may be harder on your face:eek: Even switching to a brush and soap would be a big improvement. We aren't elitists here, but we really do promote traditional wet shaving with DE razors and Straights

Yeah I was just picking on you guys. :) I really am interested in trying this hobby one day though.

It does not have to be a hobby.

You will find that you will get a better shave with a DE than with cartridge/can methods AND you will save about a dollar-per-day. And that is real savings. Cartridge/can nickel-and-dimes you, bleeds you slowly; yes, the upfront cost is low, but every few weeks it's another can and every month or so another package of cartridges.

DE and straight-razor shaving can become a hobby and you can end up collecting hundreds of razors and a huge library of blades and whole room full of pre-shave, lather, after-shave, and razor maintenance products. Or, you can get one good razor, find one brand of blades you like and that works well for you, one brush, one soap or cream that you like that works well for you, one aftershave that you like and that works well for you, and just stick to that.
 
Is the pistol used for shaving or just to whip up the lather a bit more aggressively? Either way, it's courteous of you to use a silencer when shaving in the morning so as not to wake the rest of the house.
 
I've got the stick version of that Spanish cream, useful traveller and the scent is OK.

Must be a dangerous location that bathroom of yours:eek::D:D

Howdy! Haven't had any camera time lately. I've even missed a shave or 2, but I am glad to see someone keeping this thread going! :thumbup::thumbup:

I'll try to get some shots in this week.
