Sheepsfoot / Wharncliffe (no slipjoint/nail nick)?

I'm really looking for a nice blade with either a wharncliffe or sheepsfoot blade shape. I'm looking for a folder and I'm not interested in any traditional folders. So far I've noticed the Spyderco Yojimbo 2, crkt swindle, kershaw leek and the Spyderco kiwi.

Budget: $50-$175

Honestly I'm just looking to expand my rotation and don't have anything with those blade shapes. I'm not interested in fixed blades either. So out of the ones I mentioned, which is the "greatest" to experience, which one showcases the sheepsfoot or wharncliffe style the best?

Anything from 8cr13mov to Elmax

No preferences on handle material, although I would really appreciate if it's a 4 finger knife, or partially 4 fingered knife. I have medium/large hands

The Delica 4 is the smallest knife I own and I would like to keep it that way. Thank you

Hmmm, how strict is the blade shape to adher to the wharncliffe / sheepsfoot? What about a spyderco pingo? Or a zt 0770? If you're looking for a real straight edge you might want to check out the kizer rogue.

Why no traditional? There really is no problem with them. A Mini Grip with sheepsfoot blade would be good, or a Kershaw (can't remember model.) If you don't want a traditional (any knife actually) because it is slow, get a fixed. You don't seem to like small knives so I don't see why fixed isnt an option, aside from legal issues.
A swayback jack from Case showcases the wharncliffe blade the best, but it could be too small for you. In my experience, Case steel lasts a day of cutting down cardboard and opening packages (I used to work the donation dock at a big Salvation Army) and takes about 3 minutes to sharpen back up.

Barring my rant, I think the Kershaw would be best as it is easy on the budget. It might be a Leek but I'm not that familiar with Kershaw. You could get a laminated blade on it too.

Ran your requirements against the database, quite a few options (not yet mentioned):

Bear Persuader
5.11 Double Duty
Fox Knives Vitale
Fox Knives ALSR 2
Benchmade Bullhead
CRKT Eraser
Viper Free
Benchmade Triage
Viper Rhino

Out of everything mentioned, I personally like the BM 550hg fullsize grip.

Narrowing down choices between:
Spyderco Kiwi 3 (or 4)
Spyderco Air
Kershaw Leek in Elmax

Is there any huge difference between the air and kiwi?
Which is the better spyderco? Would that Spyderco trump the leek too?

I've had a Yojimbo 2 for a while & like it. The thing is a boxcutter on steroids!

Benchmade Triage on the high end of the budget, Benchmade Griptillian on the lower end

Two not mentioned previously: Blackhawk Be Wharned (note: it was designed by Mike Janich, who also designed the Yojimbo and Yojimbo 2). A dark horse I just found on Knifecenter is the Dustar Cutterjack.

At the very low end, you could go below the $50 floor and either get a Boker Trance and have its nose bobbed into the variant that Chad Los Banos calls the "Whart," or get a Cold Steel Tuff Lite or Mini Tuff.

I have 2 Yojimbo 2's. They're freakin' awesome. I've been carrying one for the last few months as one of my edc's. The full size Cold Steel Tuff Lite mentioned above is another favorite wharncliffe of mine, though it doesn't feel as "quality" or solid in the hand as the Yoji (it's lighter and has a plastic handle). You can't go wrong with either, imho, but as long as you're willing to fork over the extra cash, I'd go with the Yoji.

The "Air" is on my buy list eventually, but I just looked it up and it appears to be discontinued. (so, that means buy it soon if you want it.) I have the Kiwi 4. I believe the Air is not an inexpensive knife, but I think the steel is better than the Kiwi 4. I really like the Kiwi 4, but I always felt it was over priced for VG-10. But I still bought one and like it. It is a really nice knife for regular carry and is a little smaller than the Delica. The Kiwi 4 sings "quality" when you handle it. I feel sure the Air does as well.

Can't really comment on the Leek from any experience.

One of the reasons I purchased the Kiwi 4 was that I was looking for something that is made better than the Cold Steel Tuff Lite. If CS upgraded the Tuff Lite a bit, it would be a much better knife. As it stands, it is a bargain, but it is no $100 knife. Is the Kiwi 4 twice as good? I think so. Since I got it, I carry the Kiwi 4 and leave the Tuff Lite lying on the shelf.

Also, I personally really like a curved sheep shape, like that on the Spyderco Stretch. It lets you use a sheepsfoot tip style for fine cutting, sheet good cutting, and everything else a sheepsfoot can cut, but also gives some belly. Yojimbos look great, but blade geometry isn't my cup of tea.

Camillus Jolt... D2 steel, Carbon fiber scales, pocket clip for right hand carry... 65 bucks. Great hollow grind Wharncliffe with a lot of belly.... its an outstanding knife and IMHO very under priced for what you get in return. Camillus is a great knife company that has done great work for many many years... often overlooked because they have been around so long I believe, I love their knives. Sized well for large hands. I wear a 3xl size mechanics glove and I get a full hand on it..... and the flipper action is smooth and awesome, snaps open with authority and has a great lock up. I love the thing....in fact, going now to order a back up in case they ever decide to discontinue it.

Have a look at the Boker mini Vanquish. Everything you are looking for, except 440C blade.

I don't own one, but have my eye on it...

Many good suggestions so far. Boker Sniper Bladeworks S2 is $55ish. Bokers 440C isn't bad.

I have a Spyderco Centofante 4. Slightly bigger then the Delica 4 but not by much. Great knife. Can be found on the secondary market.
