I also had a friend + maker who didn't live that far from him willing to make a visit...greased the wheels a little, but constant communication got it done eventually.

Exactly! He got admin on one of the Koenig FB groups, geez....
 
He's still up to his same old shit. Unfortunately I had to have him make me something custom, as nobody else would or could. Was told 2 weeks, its been almost 2 months now. 1st excuse was the USPS lost items, so he had to remake em. 2nd excuse was his back (again, didn't he have surgery on it already lol), and migraines. Now I'm waiting for my approval for back and neck surgery, and have suffered from migraines for 20yrs now. I know what its like to have both. If I can manage to do my job, he can manage to do his. And the prior order, was more BS excuses. Said he shipped it, never showed up. Then he said he didn't ship it, and would. Then like 1 week later, send a pic if a label. While that's great, he still didnt drop it at the PO lol. Its still the same old excuses

Absolute truth. I tried to find anyone else, to make them. Tried everyone i could think of, off Instagram, Reddit, and Facebook. JohnnyT, Suingab (g10it.com), KnathansKnives, RC Customs, Flytanium, RGT, ect. Everyone said no, except Sheppard. If any of them said yes, I'd have went with them, just to avoid the BS
 
Sad to hear. He is so talented that if he could straighten out his delivery act he would have business to the end of days. His work is truly amazing. But making me force him to deliver well over a year after I was told the knives would arrive is unacceptable. I do not believe he is a scammer. I just think he is severely disorganized.

Absolutely. The thing he has going for him, is there's so many people who don't know his history. I see his posts in a lot of FB groups I'm in. Always people interested in his scales/backspacers, DM'n him. And damn, he is talented, but the disorganized excuse can only go so far lol. We live in modern times. Im a courier for FedEx. He can easily set up pickups with USPS (or whoever he wants to use), and doesn't even have to leave to ship his stuff. I know here in NY, almost every single PO is 24hr as well. Plus, being able to print ur own labels, he has no excuse. BUT, when he's the only 1 to do what u want done, he's got u by the short & curlies
 
Here’s one he did for me.
Promised 2 weeks……..closer to 3 months with the most ridiculous excuses for the delay.
He did send me a set of PM2 scales free of charge for the aggravation.
Great work, total twat to deal with.

Sick scale! I actually just had RC Customs make me a Southard scale. OD green canvas micarta , with a brown burlap inlay. I went with him, cuz he offered them, and i knew i wouldnt get jerked. Was told 1-4 weeks, and had em done in 2 weeks. No BS excuses, just got the work done.
 
So Sheppard sent me a pic of my scales, pretty much done. Just needed final sanding and finishing done to em. Now, we'll see how long it takes to drop em at the PO lol

Lol. He's back at it again. Over promises and under delivers. I had a show scale done by him about 2 months ago. Milling was off and didn't line up with the stop pin on a rosie. He asked me to send him the knife so he could fix it. That's a big hell no. Eric is the same old goat blower. Excuses and bs just to buy more time hoping you'll forget. If he does it right his work is good, but as a person I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire.
 
People who have read this thread are seeking his services and then posting their disappointment here. Okie dokie!

Oh man. What a nightmare. I was having shades of SheppardCC with RC Customs. So he sent me the scales. Unfortunately, he sent them to someone else in NC. Says it was the PO's mistake. So he said they were addressed to me in NY, but I'm to believe that evey PO, every PO sorting center, and the final destination mailman, saw it was going to NY, but just decided to deliver it to a random house/mailbox in NC lol? So he sent a second set, that took over 1 week to get to me. I'll post pics if the Southard scale from him tomorrow. On the bright side, concerning SheppardCC's scales, I only got 2 more excuses, and he finally got them in the mail today. Only took 3 months, after being told a "couple weeks". There was also a big thread about him yesterday in EDC Go/No Go on FB
