Shield Selection?

I am planning a series of utility slipjoints and would like your help picking out a shield or at least ranking these one, two, three. Left is one center is two and right is three

I would rank the one on the right number 1. The one in the center number 2 and the one on the left number 3. The reverse of how you had them numbered. My 2 cents.
Would be interested to hear more about what you had in mind for this line of knives. Carbon steel or stainless? Hopefully some trappers, maybe a 3 7/8 trapper?

I 2nd Knifehead, 1-2-3 from left to right. For me number 3 is a far third (It just doesn't look right to me).

I like them #3-#1-#2. I like #3 the most because it's simple and elegant to my eye. The others just seem to get busier looking to me.

Mr. Russell,

You can't come in here talking about planning a series of slipjoints and leave with only shields. We need more information please. :)
