Shipping before payment arrives

As a general rule...Once Bitten...Shame on them...Twice Bitten shame on me...There exceptions to this rule...I have been burned by "I believe the USPS"...The folks I have done business with on this forum...And other knife forums..(USN-Badlands) are as a whole the same folks...I have had an incident where I have sent cash out and it never arrived...I checked my MO and it still to this day has not been cashed..So....As a general rule..the folks that have been around for a bit are truly "TRUST WORTHY"..I ship right away...Now the USPS...I am still waiting for 600 bones to be reimbursed from over 7 months ago...They want the cash right now to ship..you insure and it doesnt make it to its destination...Hurry Up And Wait...LETS NOT GO THERE...DIFFERENT SUBJECT FOR ANOTHER POST..

:) I believe 95% of the folks around these forums...that are known..Numerous posts...WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL DO...THEY DO... ;)

My hats off to 'MOST" of the folks inside these forums...I love this place...

We all just accept that the seller has the right to get the funds first, but I have often pondered this question:

What is worth more, the item or the money?

I mean think about it. Is the buyer at any less risk sending the money than the seller would be in sending the item? Why should the buyer have to risk the money and wait for the item, when the item and the money are "worth" the same?

Very interesting concept here.

I agree with most here, and have mailed in advance of receiving payment. I have been on both sides of this, and have never been burned.
