Shiv. Shiv. Shiv.

The attention to detail and craftsmanship that went into this knife is unbelievable…

Those are great pics! Tracking info states that mine should be here tomorrow. Can’t wait!
Although I ordered double black handles I’m kind of wishing that I would’ve ordered what you bought, they look great.

Noooooooooooo!!!!!!

I didn’t realize that it was after midnight when I checked the tracking info. The Shiv won’t be here today, it’ll be here tomorrow.
Too bad we can’t attach sound clips to our posts. I’d absolutely attach a Napoleon Dynamite-IDIOT to this.
Now the wait for the last day will seem twice as long😡

Holy Shiv!
This thing is AWESOME!
When Nathan said that the handle was like the UF, but without the limitations that they had set for that knife, I thought that it’d be nice. Nice doesn’t begin to cover the difference in feel. I really like the UF but the Shiv feels like he made it for MY hand- perfection!
Considering how thick it is, it seems light for the size.
I ran around the basement with it posing like an 80’s action movie star, stressing out my Wife. Stood against the wall reenacting John J Rambo emerging from the mud in First Blood part 2. Pulled off a couple somersaults and a slide, like Paul Blart, Mall Cop- who coincidentally is closer to my build. 6’3, 230 pounds can look like the Rock, or melted ice cream Thor. I’d put myself about 85% of the way to melted ice cream Thor.
Im happy to report that the knife passed testing with flying colors. I can’t wait to find an excuse to use this beast on something. Definitely going to slice the Easter ham with it to unsettle the relatives.

A white box is allegedly coming this way tomorrow...

ETA:

(Good thing I went to the grocery today. Gonna rain tomorrow. This should brighten things up.)
Did it arrive?
Someone referred to it in another post as an emotional support Shiv, which I thought was funny, but now I’m on board.
I’ve had this thing within arms reach since it showed up.
I love the handles on the HDFK and the MC, they’re perfect for hard use field knives. I’m not qualified to say whether or not the handle on the Shiv 2.0 is perfect for stabby/slashy work against softer media but I absolutely love the handle. It just melts into your hand.

How do you like it? Will it become an emotional support Shiv for you too?

It did not arrive...as UPS did not pick up from CPK on Thursday afternoon...so I'll have to content myself with twiddling my thumbs and teasing the dog until Monday. (I won't tease my wife or she'll get even with me when I least expect it.)

A blown pickup was a cardinal sin. Unless it was an act of God, there was no excuse ever to blow a pickup.

The next business day every single package would have been upgraded (2nd day air or Next Day Air), (depending on destination) for free, and the customers entire bill would be refunded for that day.

It was a huge ordeal for that to ever have happen, practically unheard of.

I’m embarrassed just to hear of it happening and you have my most sincere apology E.

As I told Jo, no need to make a special trip to the UPS store, and no big deal in the scheme of things.

If that's the biggest disappointment I ever have to deal with, I'll take it daily and twice on Sunday.

(FWIW, my experience with UPS over the years has generally been excellent, both professionally when they aided our investigations, and personally as a customer.)
