Hey Master Ki,
I'm very interested in one of your spirit blades. Do you currently have a wait list or anything like that? Are deposits required for orders? Please let me know!
Call me, have blades on hand

I can't say whether or not his claims are true because I don't know anything about him or his knives but steel could only be pushed to a certain limit and IMO the mastersmiths he is refering to (whoever they may be) have done just that, pushed the steel to it's farthest extreme as far as performance and cutting ability. As far as his claim to be better, where is the proof?

There is much you are yet to know sk The photos on my web site are
proof. Also have video. I think you are just a bored jerk, stirring the pot for entertainment. I have taken steel to a level never seen before. And the
proof is in the performance.

Where is this video I keep reading about? I searched all over your site and I cannot find a video.

Don't worry about the computer. It comes with practice. If you are on a standard phone line connection just remember to wait for the loading bar at the bottom to read "Done" before trying to post anythign else. Also, if you click on the edit tag for your post you can re-write it without posting over. Saves time compaired to waiting for the page to load over and over again.

What, are you brain dead? Just look at my web site!

Hype? What hype. You cannot make a blade that will cut 14 three times,
15 three times and 16 eleven times. HYPE? There is no hype about me.
You are the one with wind whistiling through the holes in your head.

What Master Shiva says is very true in many things. 3 to 1 is only the dispersion from the standard deviation.
As I have personally seen the Master himself take the pebble from the hand of the greatest master Kwai Chang Caine.
I too am battle hardened brought on by training from WOK.
Better known as Women On Kall. :D

Do you have any idea what an airhead you are?

Wow this hasn't been sent to W&C yet?

Just let the knives speak for themselves, we don't need some over zealous knife maker to be talking about chopping peoples legs off. I am not a martial artist but I always thought the really high up masters were cool headed and did not threaten people and resort to name calling....

The video is not on the site, it is right here. I need to edit it down to just the cuts. I`ve got 8 photos on my web site, how much proof you need?

Coug, I think what he is saying is that his knives will cut through three times as many ropes than the knives being made by the ABS Mastersmiths. This is of course an extreme exaggeration. His Spirit Blade cut through 15 ropes. That is an awesome feat, but most, if not all ABS smiths can make knives that will cut through more than 5. Along with martial arts, Master Ki seems to also be a master of hype. He makes excellent knives, but he does seem to lack respect for other makers. Maybe it is just how he comes across.
Are you math challenged? 5 to 15 IS 3 to 1 sk

A thought from down under: this digger makes fair dinkum blades, anyone that owns them have commented favourably about them. This bloke is getting treated with disdain not by people who own and highly rate his gear, but by people who haven't seen his knives and don't like the way he confidently promotes his products.
Master Shiva seems to me to be a colourful character, confident in his product, is willing to put up, has a web site with pictures etc and has been given the thumbs up by people who have used his knives - but some of you want to run him out of town. You should save your cynicism for the Dark Ops types, not the real bladesmiths.

wow, i don't know about everyone else, but i'm just about DONE with you. you might be the best bladesmith in the universe, but you have the interpersonal skills of a bag of soap.

The blade geometry, and edge bevels I'm seeing on that Spirit blade speak for themselves. Not my cup of tea, since I only use a knife that size for...well, yard work, and would just tear up the edge and tip hacking at roots and stuff like that, so $1,000+ knives need not apply, but THOSE HANDLES!! I'm having a chopping fantasy just looking at them...oops, gotta go :o

I don't trust a stick tang on a chopper. Recipe for disaster and turning the fellow behind you into a ancient warrior spirit or accidently chopping someone's leg off...

Here's my thoughts on this whole matter. And, I don't care if somebody sneaks up on me and gives me a Dim Mak Death Touch either. ;)

This guy might make a great blade, and might be a bad mutha(shut yo mouth!). He might even be Kwai Chang Cain's Grandson, for all I know. What I do know is, he is NOT supposed to be selling his knives in the General Forum. He shouldn't even be selling without a membership of some kind, period. And, he should NOT be threatening people with physical violence and calling them names.

You are using a selling knives here and breaking our rules that you agreed to when you joined B.F. I am quite aware of the quality of work and I consider it high.

Breaking the rules here by using a discussion forum to sell knives also makes me aware of some other things that are not very positive.

Old equation: (I learned this the hard way.)

Knife + self hype = knife I will not consider buying.

You have been banned for violating those rules and posting threats.

Should you wish to return and abide by rules you will be more than welcome.
