And now Victoria the rottie is almost 8 months old and coming up on 75 pounds. look at that neck!

And she has turned into a bona-fide shop dog. She lays down under the grinder, the polsishing vise, the 'dirty vise' or right in front of the bandsaw, depending on which one I need to use next.

This is my sheltie Toby after I got back from the hospital. I had a bout of unexpected seizures (never experienced seizures before), and was laid up in the hospitial for a few. Poor dog is going blind in his right eye. I have another dog, Brett that is a corgi. I don't have any pics of him at the moment. This is Toby's normal temperament, but there was a man when I was living in Alaska who hurt Brett, and Toby tore though the wood fence like it was paper and chased the guy into his house. I guess you don't mess with his pack! Other than that time he loves everyone. Never have I seen a smaller dog do things like that. So his nick name is Vicious Beast, or Beastie for short. Both love to watch me forge, but hate when I turn on the grinder.

This is Bandit (left) and Max (right) on the world's most expensive dog bed. Occasionally, they let us use it as a couch. They wouldn't dream of going into my shop - not civilized, don't you know.
