Have fun guys. I lived in Peoria for a year (back in the 70s) but haven't been back to Illinois since. No trips planned anytime soon either. Oh well I'll be home if you need me :rolleyes:
 
This is sounding like a great meeting. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. KYEnglish I can reserve you a hotel using my Marriott points if you like. I know you are traveling a long way. I have tons of points - so no dollars out of my pocket. If you would like a hotel, just send JK an email. He can pass it on to me. I need your email address, full name, what night you would like the hotel (Fri or Sat) and a general hotel location (near JK's, half way to Chicago etc.).

don't clean up too much, John, pope ain't going to be there or anything :)

picking up the car tomorrow as well, want to leave Friday afternoon. And I don't finish teaching early enough to pick it up on the day.

I have not come across anything for the for sale table, seems like I've already got rid of all the good ones.

Everyone loves a good knife swap/sale! Some of you guys have to dig deep. That helps the few of us who are relatively knifeless (is that even a word?)

truck ready to roll - check

Excited to get together with the knife guys for the second weekend in a row - CHECK!

For whatever reason, seems like my truck blows a headlight every time I am coming to John's place. I'll have to put a new one in tomorrow, ask John how OCD I am about my headlights. :eek:

guess I better get to packing to :)

sorry about your headlight, andy, any consolation this means i'll have to put off changing the brake sin our car till we get back and that irks me to. I dislike having working waiting, undone, just sitting there, needing attention..:)
