SHOT show is over with!

Nutn needs to email us and get a time slot since most of the time we are jammed with other appointments at trade shows, so I'm not sure what makes him so special that he thinks he can walk up and just think we will fall at his feet and walk away from our customers with appointments. Customer come first with us, not press. Another thing is we simply won't do 30 minute interviews. I haven't even found a woman that can hold my attention that long.

Huge ego. I don't mind watching his footage of hikes and stuff but 13 year olds on youtube have inflated his head and ego to enormous proportions.

It's not just 13 year-olds. The number of grown men that fall at his feet is bazaar! :rolleyes:
 
Our customers and end users WILL ALWAYS come before nutnfancy or any other media. I refuse to brush off someone who owns one of our knives just to be on YouTube for 30 minutes. Trust me, the end user is much more fun to talk to.
 
I've never watched any of his u-tube stuff. I wasn't even aware someone who posts on u-tube was considered media.
 
Media is used pretty loosely now-a-days
Don't get me wrong , If he'd made an appointment ,no issues but no appointment no access ! Customers come 1st !
He did seem alittle aggravated that I brushed him off though he keep saying "I'm nutnfancy" I have other booth waiting to do interviews with me ,I said Okay go seem 'em, I mean I was in the middle of a conversation with someone and he just step in front of us.. kinda irked me ....

When he said "I'm nutnfancy" you should have said. "I agree....." :D
 
Again, I don't know the man but from what everyone said, he's damn rude and we have no use for him.
 
Rude was an understatment ,I will not post what I told shotty as he walked off :D
but to have no manners and to step in front of me and a customer was a mistake....
Trust me our booth was so swamped with people, other booth's complained ;) we drew to much people at times :thumbup:
 
I am just surprised nuttinfancy is even being called "media"? he is a guy with a youtube channel who talks about gear. Not exactly media imo. I can see how he would be a benefit to have on your side doing reviews, but not a media outlet.

To be honest, he does have a huge following and there are companies that have admitted to making changes based off of what he (and those that follow him) have asked. But that's the problem, a little bit of recognition has obviously gone to the guy's already bloated ego.

I try to get into what he is saying and he just squashes all interest. Is there someone else that does similar stuff? Hell maybe I will learn how to use a camera and due what he does, but better content, half the time, no dumbass slogans, and not show my mug every 10 sec, not refer to myself in the 3rd person every 5 seconds, I could go on. 2nd it wouldn't be anything like him, I wouldn't use the terms tacticool and all. Does the guy even have military or LE background. Not that you need it, but he dresses like a wanna be. I think this thread is going to turn into a nutnfancy bashing.... "I'm nutnfancy, and like ESEE knives, I am a tool!"
 
My whole thing is I simple don't like rude people, regardless if they are good at what they do or not. Rudeness is not something I will tolerate. Nutn was rude. He's not welcome at our booth from this point forward. I could give the first shit if he ever does another review of an ESEE product. Again, we don't play to the "press", we talk to our users and customers.
 
and in all honesty you guys (esee) dont really need any media behind you, cause your products and customer support speak for them selfs, which some media im sure does help, but ESEE is TOP NOTCH fellas..im glad i stumbled upon this kickass knife company. havent been disappointed yet and the way things are going i dont think i ever will be..maybe the only disappointment i can see coming out of buying Esee products is how empty my bank account is lol

Yes, we gave away about 10,000 dollars worth of product at the show.... and that's average internet retail price, not MSRP.

The only knives we didn't give away were some that we traded for some flashlights from a compnay setup across from us. That damn Tony Dobbs is a deal making SOB!
