Got a happy modern buffer in there, new mag and recoil springs, and fresh stock rubbers...

And two sisters.

I have problems that make my knife habit look like an instant coffee addiction. Go me.

J JBoone nice gun, I owned a EELL in 28 gauge for quite a few years. The 28 scaled frame was a joy to carry and shoot.

I think that makes it illegal

Hmm. That would be interesting. The little "raptor" handle is legal as it comes from the store, but swap it out for a pistol grip/shoulder stock and now you have an illegal item?

Guess I need to research the federal and state statutes on this thing, because I have one on my "buy" list.

Unless it's a pistol brace it is illegal. The raptor grip makes the firearm 26" thus legal and it can't be shouldered .

The Shockwave is in a gray area and some experts (including Mossberg) contend that making any changes to it at all is a violation. If I were to do anything to one, I'd get registered as an SBS first. It's a cheap solution to the problem of "Is this gun legal?".
