Edit: Closed the thread because it had run it's course. Thanks for reading and replying.
The CRK guys will probably light up this thread quicker than a piece of fatwood but hear me out.
I've owned several CRK's and they're great. I recently got a ZT (Hinderer design) and I think just like any other maker CRK and ZT could benefit by partnering.
You could get a CRK design with a newer/different/"better" blade steel with really good tolerances (maybe not Reeve tolerances but damn good) for under 300 a knife.
OR
A CRK inspired flipper. ZT does flippers well and this could be a similar collab as the Kershaw/Al Mar collab except US made and WAY better quality/materials.
Collaborating with ZT hasn't seemed to hurt Hinderer, Emerson, or other knife maker. It would allow them to have something more affordable and different on the market without sacrificing their vision or stretching themselves thin as they're not able to produce as much as ZT.
