I haven't carried a black knife at all this week.
I'll pretend that I carried this sable Sabre stockman my daughter got for me in an antique store in MN:
I'm going to post another knife in this thread today. My wife was making an Amazon order earlier this week and asked if I needed anything because she had to add about $14 to her order for free shipping. What I really needed was a band for my Casio watch, but Amazon's prices for those were way too high, so then I suggested I'd send her a link to an inexpensive knife she could add to her order. This Brother 1502 lockback with G10 covers and 440C blade arrived yesterday afternoon.
The knife came in this box with the informative label. (I thought "Floding Knife" was just a typo on the Amazon page, but I guess that's what they really call it. )
Inside the box was a cloth bag in which to store the knife which, liberally coated in oil, was in a plastic bag inside the box.
Closeup of the blade and pivot, followed by a closeup of the butt of the knife showing lanyard tube and G10 detail. The knife is definitely black, and today is definitely Friday, so here it is!

one of your prior pictures inspired me to pull out this WW-II Imperial Navy-Coast Guard knife. Look at the pattern on your knife and my knife - the jigging in the shrinky-dink handles matches up perfectly. This one takes a razor edge. OH
