Great pics guys!

Question: When did they go to the current "shield" on the Vic SAK's (vs the Cross I see on these older ones here)...? Thanks!

Approx 1999. This one would have been in one of the last reg production runs of the old scales.

I carried the Black Pioneer for the last year very frequently and it became a steady companion in my EDC rotation. I really like it very much.
The Black Alox is almost a little worn off, but not that much. I dropped the knife on concrete but there were no real heavy scratches or dings in it. Absolutelly tough stuff!

In the past I carried a silver Vic Farmer & Pioneer as well as a Wenger SI for many many years... ;)

Thats a great pic, what kind of Barlow knife is that if you dont mind me asking?!

What kind of barlow is that Andi? Sorry if I replied many times this software keeps giving me a reply window but not showing where my reply went or displaying it...

This is my most carried pioneer, it shows 2+ years of wear. I'm not very careful with it. It doesn't reside in a dedicated pocket in fact it's common for it to spend time floating around in my toolbox at work.
