Unfortunately it was a coated blade that I attempted to uncoat with media blasting and then buffing wheels but it's not high polished yet. Looks terrible at the moment.

Just got a S30V Blur in the mail today. Pretty sweet knife. Took the picture right after I opened the box (with my 1660VIB), the clip is now set and thread locked tip-up. I want to get a cool handle color and throw the S30V blade on it; smoke green is cool but for me expensive just for the handle (a half serrated tango is one of the last blade shape I would want in a knife). If anyone has a cool colored Blur with a trashed blade they want to get rid of let me know.


Also got the 1084 Skyline; also a really nice knife, and has put me on a little kick to get a few fixed blades. Since the 1084 is discontinued I'm probably going to order one of the 1084OR blems just to have, and I'm super excited about the 1082OR blems available, I think that blade shape will be really good in use.

Stopped by my local gun shop to have some work done on a pistol and happened to look around a bit while waiting and found a SG10 Blur sitting in the case calling out to me. Been to that shop dozens of times and never thought to look at knives lol.

It's a S60V that I traded for a few years ago. I know I know, could it have been one of the uber rare non blem ones? In this case I hope it was a blem. It would've been a shame had it been one of the few non blem ones However I'll never know because I don't think the member I traded with is around here anymore?

If he is and reads this it'd be neat if he could tell us---not sure we'd want to know the answer though
