Show Me Your Blur : Part 2

My latest ELMAX made it onto this photo.. I now have the Stonewash ELMAX waiting in the mail. :D

New blur owner here, waiting for his Elmax in the mail. Got it new for $83! Quick question though is the recurve on the blur different for each steel version? The sandvik one looks more recurved or is that in my head?

Did you ask that same question on a Facebook group? If not you're the second person I've seen think that.
 
I didn't! I was about to pull the trigger on a zt or another kizer but the Elmax blur called out to me.

I basically don't have many opportunities to edc an overbuilt knife so I chose the blur after passing it over for two years. But due to the Elmax, compact size and slight recurve I went for it. It comes in handy for yard work. I am enjoying seeing s30 and Elmax end up in regular normal everyday knives though! Anyone know about the recurve sandvik vs s30 vs Elmax model btw?
 
Only thing I'd change about the Blur, is the clip. I want one of those Titanium Deep Carry Pocket Clips. $25 seems like a lot for one though.
LOL compared to the cost of my entire knife collection, it's nothing though.

Perhaps the actual grind lends itself to making the recurve look different? The premium Blurs get that nice flat grind while the Sandvik have the hollow grind.

I'll say this, I've owned a few Blurs over the years and sometimes it appears as if some have slightly more recurve than others. But it's barely noticeable, if it's even there. Might just be my OCD haha.
 
Just got mine in, I like it. Solid user not without imperfections but lots of good value!

i've been missing this post for a while, you guys have such wonderful collections!
i've tried for years to put something decent on, still missing fews, i'm not collecting PS, only plain
this is what i have in my dedicated showcase, plus some others as a second krein regrind s60v and a couple more as edc and few more "spare" (you never know in life.....)
