Something just struck me with this post. Anybody else notice the part# on the blade? 1670TBLK. Um......There have been a couple guys looking for that part# listing it as a tanto blade, non-serrated. This knife doesn't have a tanto blade. Blem by part number or what? I know my black Blur is 1670BLK.

Yeah, that was confirmed by Thomas in a different thread if I remember correctly.

Yeaup, pretty much this. I bought this as a blem, and missed the incorrect model number and was confused by lack of "xxxx". It was confirmed to be a blem by incorrect model number.

I have that in a tanto blade serrated With the Ken Onion on it also (1670TBLK) that is only two i have seen with the Ken Onion on the. Whats up?

Why does everyone who shows their Blur collection put the blade side down that shows the model number?
I am baffled by that far right row of jimw451's. I can see the blade lines on the ZDP but not so sure about the rest.

Agreed on the clip side or back side of the knife. Usually not the "presentation" side for aesthetic purposes.

Here ya go, pics of the earth tone/brown versions (that I have) showing model numbers:

Looking forward to the customizing. Hope to see some good pics of an awesome knife or a really ugly knife. Both would be interesting :D

Media blasted the black anodizing off the scales and started polishing. Leaving the blasted look in the crevices/accents but trying to get a high polished look before I'm done. Sorry for the pic, I had to use my phone.

Greetings to everybody and happy new year.
Quite new on this forum, usually not enough time to write, but this time as I’ve seen the topic (a friend wrote me to have a look) just couldn’t resist!:D

I’m amazed by some collection! Mine is relatively simple, but being Italian it’s very hard to get the most collectible blurs.

Anyway, this is what I have. It goes without saying that I’m trying hard to fill the holes…..
Thanks for looking and tolerate my English.

Your results are a lot better than mine. I should send mine out to get blasted.

Congratulazioni (that's one of about 4 words I know in Italian) and thanks for posting the picture! Great collection you have! I love the image of Belushi from "1941" in there too.

Thanks Guys, i appreciate.
i do have some knives, actually, and some "important" folder as well, but to be honest i personally find the blur as one of the most valuable quality/price ratio.

john appears as my other nickname is bluto....

thanks again and stay sharp.

Adding another to my small collection thanks to Jim! Gonna have to get a pic once my new orange and anniversary knives arrive. Someone asked in a thread on this site what your first purchase would be in the new year? I said either a Blur in S30V or red. Turns out it was a anniversary and orange instead. lol

Jim maybe I missed it but what did you're "project" start out as? Might like to try this out myself if I can find one cheap enough to "ruin" if that happens. Maybe I'll go blem....... Also have a friend that cut's carbon fiber. See what he could do for me. :)

Not a problem. Glad I could help. My project started as a 1670BLK blem (due to incorrect coding on the blade of 1670TBLK) and cost me $36 through Kershawguy. Carbon fiber is a kind of weakness for me. I love the stuff. I've been waiting 10 months for a guy to make me three carbon fiber parts for my car , so maybe I could contact your friend to see if I can get some parts quicker through him? :D

Not sure what you'd need cut but he might be willing to help for the right price. He actually cuts graphite chassis' for his R/C car business called CCS (Custom Chassis Systems). Not sure how busy he is as I haven't done any racing this year. :(
