Show me your Blur!

I havent seen any good blurs for awhile. :( And Rick, that person has cost me a few rare finds on Craigslist (assuming its the same person). I put up a wanted add on CL, then they copied me. I tried to email them a nice letter, collector to collector and the a-hole ignored me. Was just trying to be friendly and see if we could help each other out. They got a grey blur and that snap-on truck ugly thing. Im sure he priced them up because I offered a decent trade for it. I have my suspicions on who it might be... After they ignored my email I set up a trap, I listed a blue blur I had "sitting around" for $50 on CL. I thought I was pretty funny, then I hooked a few unsuspecting forum members :o Oops.
 
Oh, and ya Kyle is right, Im no longer seeking out Blurs and only have the ones I love now. SG2, CB, S60V Blem, CF154, Both web colors, BOR, OD, GreenCF/BOR and maybe a few others. I was tempted away with the ZT's, sold a blue to get a 0550BLK, and so on. I miss it sometimes.

I must admit, I am leaning towards the Path of Bob when it comes to Blurs. I'm old and tired and just want to keep the rarities over the commons. The chasers these days are very impressive with what they can find in a relatively short amount of time though. Good job y'all!
 
I'd agree with the chasers thought Jim. I've seen hound dogs that can't find a rabbit as well as these guys hunt down rare Blurs! lol
 
Bob totally got me! I filled my gas tank and took the day off and was ready to make the 6 hour plus trip for it! I'd already driven an hour that direction when I got the "hold up" email and then within a few minutes we sorted it out. I knew it would be vultures on fresh roadkill and figured I had the face-to-face advantage. I think I just ended up taking the time and just swang over by the KAI factory so wasn't a loss in the end. The situation was good for a laugh anyway.
 
Kyle you crack me up, I have to hand it to you, that is some devotion to the Blur. I really hope you enjoyed your day off :D
 
I would have been mad if it was anyone but you! :) I got a laugh out of it. Even if I had made it to Puyallup I would have found something to do and enjoyed the drive... although not as much as a new Blur!

I was planning a trip to see family in Montana and take a swing through Wyoming for a 7000BL but it turned out to be the blue smoke and I already have one of those.

This collecting is a sickness.
 
Chester I have to know.... why are your initials engraved on this? Its hard to see but can only be you lol. So whats the story
 
I can barely remember the history on this one BUT that's a nice grab for the price and I'm glad it was you that got it! :thumbup:

Yeah couldnt let it slip into oblivion. Didnt really want it but was only a few bidders so decided to get it. If any of you guys need it to fill a gap until you find a better one let me know . Kyle has first chance at it though from another deal we had .
 
Its actually kinda hard to see unless its at the right angle. Might be a good frankenblur with a black blade
