That bad boy calls out to me. I love the complicated shape, grinds, and the overall post-apocalyptic mien. I would carry that after the Armageddon. Who is the maker, Laurg? I gotta know.
This is a Dasco 103-12 lamb Splitter that was handed down from my brother-in laws great grandfather. He now uses it as a camp knife on a regular basis. It was in petty rough shape when he asked me to restore it. It has a 10-3/4'' blade that's about 3/8 at the thickest point.
Here is one I made a little while back...I called it The Back Packers Parang.
The guy who bought it wanted a lanyard hole so I placed it on the blade and think it came out nice.
