What an array of ivory, Jack!
Can you tell me more about this one, is it a custom order?

What a great looking knife Augie Augie !
I am Glasgow born and bred but had no idea this company existed:eek: Wow!
Need to do some digging now

Thank you, there is not a lot of information out there on them, from what I could find they were a cutlery and sporting goods dealer, maybe household also.

A lot depends on where you are. International sales are pretty much forbidden. If you are in the US, some states ban the sale and some do not. Some states include mammoth and mastodon in their ban.

Interesting, thanks. I'd imagine legit elephant ivory commands a very high price.

Bruce Bump is a very sculptural Artisan!! Note the blades in #010, his 10th folder!! He used some nice Ivory with a subtle grain and texture! I wonder how many knives he has made since?? Or if he still numbers them??
An interesting thing for a knifemaker to do, it provides a good amount of history in a simple number!!:cool:Bump Ivory A.jpg Bump Ivory B.jpg Bump Ivory C.jpg
