Show me your Kephart blades !

That lacewood Pocket Kephart is the first one I did in that size. I also believe it was the first knife you got from me ;)

I love these classic knives.
One I did recently.

They have just such a great feel for bushcraft.

Mine is a Bark River Osage orange Kephart

factory sheath is not the best in the world but the knife is top drawer.

Almost three years old but I'll play since you are obviously a serious Kephart fan.
Here's my one and only by Bark River. A2 steel with ebony . Very sharp and very nice.

I remember back in 2006 seeing/handling one of the first BRKT Kepharts before they hit the market. I think the change in how they attached the handle scales was a big improvement.

Seems to be a comeback of interest in the Kephart knife recently.

I went on a Kephart kick a few years ago. I had JK, Gossman, ML, Neilson, Laconico. A couple others I can't remember. Now, I'm down to only three. One full size, one mini (4" blade) and one micro (approx 3" blade). All Gossman Knives. All A2 and cocobolo. All great users (the others weren't too shabby, but I can't afford to keep knives on the shelf).

Cool. The first time I've been necro-threaded ,Lol.
Since I made this post almost 3 years ago , I did actually find my "Kephart" knife. The BHK Bushcrafter. I actually bought 3 of them I like them so much !!

Glad to see this thread resurrected — I actually just started on a couple of kepharts!

"Necro-Threaded"....lol.

That JK "Stomper" is awesome!

I don't own a Kephart syle blade yet but I when I do (real soon) it's going to be a Corehart (Core Knife Co.). I'll have my second one in the shop for a sheath this week and I was really impressed with the first one I got to work on. Especially with the handle.... it's got some "swell" along the spine so it really fills your hand.... kinda reminds me of a "Nessmuk" handle.

Not mine but here's some pics I took before sending it back out to Sharp Edge.

The second one I have coming in has Jade G10 scales and he wants the same setup with a taco sheath. Gonna be a pretty sic looking setup. Hopefully soon I'll post pictures of one that actually belongs to me real soon.

Here is the first knife I made which was a Kephart and the latest knife I just finished today which also fits this subject. I really like Kepharts, I think they are about the most utilitarian blade style. That first one I made about two years ago from .125 O1 I got from the machine shop I worked at. Used a Oxy-Acetelene torch for heat treat and quenched in some oil we had laying around (it got hard). I carried that one for more than a year every day to work. It traveled all over the US with me doing service calls on forestry equipment. The other is ground from CPM 10V and heat treated to 64. Very excited to start using this one, if no one buys it (wife said I had to try to sell it first). Black and green canvas Micarta for the original and Black and Toxic Green G10 for the new one.

Anyway here is a pic:

Thanks for looking
Chris

The ML straight back is on my short list thanks to Talfuchre's review. The Corehart (Core Knife Co) is also another nice looking option.
